The pool areas are nice, and have retractable roofs in case it rains. It does get a bit hot when the roof is extended.

The Caribbean sunsets were some of the best parts of this cruise. Especially if you got to see them from the top decks while leaving port.

Originally we chose this cruise mainly because of the ports it was due to stop at in Israel, Egypt and Cyprus, but this itinerary was amended when Israel declared war on the Palestinians and these ports were replaced by others in Turkey and Tunisia. This was obviously not the fault of Costa Cruises. Overall we enjoyed the cruise, but not Costa and unfortunately we wouldn't ever travel with them ...

I went on the costa pacifica in June 2023. We spent 1.2k per person for an all inclusive experience and a cabin with a balcony. -The Cabin: The cabin is small but enough for two people and the balcony is a must with great views and lovely breeze. The furniture is old and needs to be updated but expected on an ageing cruise ship and not a big issue. The biggest issue about the cabin was a ...

We took our first Costa cruise on March 2, 2016 on the Pacifica - we chose it partly because of the itinerary as it was repositioning from Brazil to Italy, and also because the price was very reasonable. Pros - ship is lovely with beautiful decor, large wide hallways and elevator banks. We had an ocean view and an inside room which were both quite spacious. Because of the language ...

We chose this cruise because we had just spent 8 days cruising the amazon river, we thought this would be an ideal way to return home without the long flight, My husband and I have cruised with a number of cruise companies including Costa although this was some years ago and was excellent then( it was the first cruise we had ever done). I have to say the standard now is extremely poor, regretably ...

The weather was a lot warmer than I anticipated, and I would pack much lighter items than I did. Luckily, we booked the NH Darsena a day early. Fantastic location. We literally walked our luggage to the ship. Embarkation was very good. They really seem to have the system down; however, don't forget that they have two ports of embarkation: Rome and Savona. (We should have flown into Rome ...

After having an amazing time on the NCL Pride of Aloha in Hawaii three years ago, we wanted to take our "little ones" on a cruise. Currently living in Poland, we looked for a cruise leaving north of Italy so we could drive to it. I originally wanted to take a Royal Caribbean Cruise leaving from Venice, but was convinced by my travel agent that I'd have more "fun" on this one... I should have ...

I am an American living in France.  This was the fourth cruise that my girlfriend and I have taken together in the last two years.  Two of the previous three were with Costa.  The only significant difference on our part this time was that we had her nine-year-old son with us.  Overall, we were disappointed.  We chose this cruise on the Costa Pacifica for two reasons: 1.      We wanted a ...
