We were on cruise with Friends (8 People), the seating was not as we expected. The costa application did not run for all. Telephone line was not operating. We had one blocked toilet, after steerage cleaning the toilet was dirty… Was changed first departure from Dubai, officially we shall sail at 23.59, but in application they changed timing to 22.59 so we will waiting on back deck to ...

You can joying lots of activities, like basketball game, boxing aerobic dance, zumba,..etc. Performance shows are international, high class, keep your eyes on performance. The restaurant Bellavista is wonderful. The meals are delicious and service is pretty good. All staffs are very kind ,patient and always smile. But there are little problems in cruise. All swimming pools are too small, steps ...

An opportunity to visit cities in the Middle East is always good. The Costa Toscana is a fairly new ship and it was a great trip on board. The balcony cabin is very spacious - largest bathroom I have been in so far. The balcony was very large too. We had the My Drinks package which includes a bottle of water each per day. Good coffee places around as well , it is an Italian ship after ...

The ship is stunning. Very stylish design.our cabin was adequate in size. We had a premium balcony cabin on deck 17. The glass between the shower and the main cabin is a silly design feature though as if someone puts the bathroom light on during the night it lights up the whole room. There was a bit of a lack of storage but we managed. We were lucky in that we were just under 50% capacity on this ...

We chose this cruise and were joined by two friends. As mentioned in other reviews we did not set sail due to Corona Virus affecting sailing ports of call. Have to say we found the staff extremely helpful and courteous at all times. Keep in mind these people were under extreme stress being far from their home base and not having any certainty of their position. The ship was very clean and there ...

30 night Relocation voyage from Barcelona to Singapore. Embarkation was quick and straightforward due to priority check in.The suite was well appointed with coffee making machine, dressing room, enormous shower with rain shower and plenty of hot water, twin vanity basins plus heaps of storage space. Spotless cabin and large balcony under the control of Marvin the Butler. The suite included all ...

Scenic route with a great ship

We chose this cruise especially for the weather in this region at this time of the year. We traveled with a group of sixteen people. Four families with children between 15 and 23 years old.The procedure for boarding and disembarking was childishly simple and hardly time consuming. You can see that the ship comes at age but everything was in excellent condition. And the staff were visibly busy ...

Costa Mediterranea in Middle East

Have just returned from short cruise, and was concerned on the poor reviews on Costa Cruises. However, we found very little to complain about, and thought it excellent value. Embarkation was very easy, our premium balcony cabin was large, clean and comfortable. The decor on the ship in public areas is rather gaudy, but as someone pointed out, by the second day you didn’t notice it! The food was ...

When in Rome...

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

I guess we went with an open mind. As they say..." when in Rome - do as the Romans do" so we adjusted our expectations but ended up enjoying the experience of an Italian themed ship - from the over the top Italian decor to pasta everyday with our meals. We were worried after reading the reviews but I realized that North Americans just cruise differently from Europeans...no bottomless ice teas and ...
