With this report, we would like to express our gratitude for the excellent experience and top-notch quality. We recently enjoyed a cruise on the Costa Diadema ship. We wish to commend the organization of events and concerts, as well as the exceptional hospitality of the staff. We felt genuinely welcomed, from the cabin crew to the waitstaff, officers, embarkation and disembarkation team. The only ...

Beautiful ship but the additional costs are exorbitant and leave a bad taste

As a first time cruiser from South Africa, our family did the European cruise which was absolutely amazing from the ports we stopped at and being on the ship as a family. We enjoyed our time together although we were shocked at all the additional service fees charged from mandatory daily service fees (on top of an all inclusive package) as well as purchasing anything onboard e.g. a coke is ...

This was my second cruise with Costa. First one was with Smeralda . Check-in and access of the cabin worked well. Deck 2 insides. The journey from Copenhagen Danmark to Tarragona Spain went perfectly. The cabin was okey, interior grey but the bed was really good. The food is varied, the breakfast and lunch buffet is tasteless ,hot food is cold when you have found somewhere to sit. Restaurant ...

A great cruise and I am not sorry that the ship will leave the fleet.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Costa Firenze

I know Costa as a place for great Italian food, vibrant entertainment, beautiful ships and a well functioning service. Now I took just a short time out on a repositioning cruise around Western Europe. I wanted to sail on Costa Firenze, because she and her sister Venezia caused very positive and very negative reactions and I wanted to have an impression on my own before the ship will leave the ...

We wanted to visit Palermo, as my mom’s grandmother taught school there prior to coming to the US. This cruise was perfect for us and took us to so many beautiful ports; it was also refreshing to not have a cruise director/party central interrupting every hour or two. We enjoyed most meals, we had no problems with seating in the breakfast and afternoon tea buffets on deck 5 and 6 dining rooms ...

A struggle

What should have been a relaxing cruise for two ended up as a constant battle against a ship and its crew. There was no hospitality on board, worst cruise experience I have ever had. At one point I had to fear for my life and not one person would take responsibility. We were stuck in line on deck 2 with over 100 other passenger for more than a hour with no information or assistance, only after ...

I was expecting a relaxing cruise. I just love the fact you do not need to plan anything. In this cruise planning was the difference between getting caught up on busy main road or a chicken farm. The buffet service staff were horrible, probably cause of the constant chaos. >Opening times not respected >Queues were like 20 minutes long. >Serving time once you get to the counters was ...

Terrible time on the Costa Toscana

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Toscana

Went on the Costa Toscana on a med cruise 19th August 2023 with my husband and three teenage kids. It was not a pleasant experience and, given the price, we are bitterly disappointed. It’s not a luxury experience even though some of the decor is upmarket, we just felt hassled most of the time. First big problem - overcrowding. Buffet heaving busy like the rush hour underground. Tired looking ...

Total rip-off! Stay away

Beginning of August, I went 7 days cruise with my husband to Europe. One of the worst vacations and most expensive by far! Be aware people, if you breath they will charge you. They even charge for stuff that gets canceled later, and of course they will not refund you back your money. When you go downstairs to discuss the refund, they will tell you to wait until your trip ends so all money will ...

Costa Toscana... The REAL review...

Costa Toscana.. where to start.. lots to discuss For perspective purposes, I've never cruised the Med before, but I have cruised Alaska, Mexico and the Caribbean. I've traveled on NCL, RCCL, Princess, Carnival, Disney (and now Costa) on various 3-9 day itineraries so I consider myself to be a fairly seasoned cruiser in terms of expectations. I've traveled with little babies and now with young ...
