Best Cruise ever

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

Having read so many negative reviews, we were very sceptical & even contemplated cancelling before sailing. Thank goodness we didn't. We have been on 13 cruises with different companies and this cruise was by far the best. Mediterranea was scrupulously clean, the service in main dining room (Jayson) , bars (Little John, Chai) very attentive and prompt (after 1st day, your preferred drink ...

We were looking for a week of winter sun in February and chose Costa because of the itinerary, and location. We made our own travel arrangements and flew to Dubai on Emirates, and with a short transfer, we were at the port within an hour of landing. Embarkation was quick and efficient and our luggage was delivered to our cabin quickly. The ship was clean, all the crew we met were polite, and ...

Yes, It Can be Sweet in a Costa Suite We are recently back from a nine day Costa Mediterranea cruise to the Norwegian fjords. We typically sail HAL, Celebrity, or RCI and usually in a balcony cabin. To be honest, the reviews have kept me away from considering Costa. This time we were traveling with another couple and were looking for an itinerary that departed from and returned to Amsterdam. ...

Crew and staff are very nice and all the Port excursions are well organised in different languages. Food is very good , especially Italian food, Entertainment is awesome during the cruise. Cabin comfort is good although it was an inside cabin, next time it will be one with a balcony. Overall the cruise exceed my expectation. Looking forward for the next one in the Mediterranean next year. ...

This cruise was chosen by Altius Insurance Cyprus (my husband work in this company) as a reward. It was my first cruise, but definitely I will do it again!!! The ship was so clean, nice odor, you could smell the cleaning odors everywhere. We had cabin 6109. The service was amazing. The man that was cleaning our cabin was so polite. The dining on the second deck was amazing. I was ...

We chose this cruise as it was extremely good valve for money. We secured it through Groupon and flew from Gatwick to Nice. Transfers smooth and on arriving at the ship our bags were whisked away and placed outside our cabin, let the fun begin! The ship is very ornate and the interior decorating a little offensive to those who like colour co-ordinated surroundings! However it was clean and ...

My wife and I wanted a good price, port visits to places we had not visited (Genoa, Herculaneum and Valleta, Malta) and a return visit after 30 years or so to Barcelona. We had spent 2 nights on our own long ago in downtown Palermo, but knew there was more to see. Costa offered all the right ports and a good price. MSC Cruises had a much larger ship (3200 passengers vs 2100), visited Rome, not ...

Staff are wonderful, Food superb (lots of choice from Buffet - several different service statons offering different sorts of meals - so wander around first before you decide!! (preferred it to main restaurant as two sittings one is very early (18:30) and one is very late (21:15)). Gym excellent and Pilates and Yoga also on offer. Security very good. Everyone speaks english though some of the ...

I am a single older lady with mobility difficulties (I use a stick to walk) and I must say I had the most wonderful time on my Christmas cruise aboard this beautiful ship. This was my first cruise with Costa Mediterranea. From the booking procedure through to the last day of the cruise, this was an excellent experience. The Ship is stunningly beautiful. The crew members, each and every one ...

We boarded the ship at Trieste where l have to say was very disorganised, whether it was due to the hurricane strength winds l don't know. Anyway after boarding we went straight to our cabin which was the largest inside cabin we've had. It was lovely and clean with plenty of storage. There we met our steward who was very polite and cheerful. After we had the safety drill we went to explore and l ...
