My experience with costa cruise would be the worst travel experience I have ever endured.only on the ship for 24 hours, never left the embarkation port before we were told to disembark. The process of passengers getting their documentation back was a debacle waiting in lines for several hours elderly persons fainting, no care for passengers welfare was apparent. After this Costa only wants to give ...
Didnt end up sailing as cruise cancelled because of Coronavirus. Extremely rude, grumpy drink staff. Spent one night on board. Buffet was so small with well below average variety of food compared to other cruises I've been on. Food in dining room not good as well. Didnt get bread or coffee and having a drink card was a complete waste considering they dont serve cocktails or spirits in the dining ...
chosen purely because of itinerary.Got off to a bad start when pick up bus at Nice Station didn't park where stated. First night on board, air conditioning noise in room was not put right until midnight.Next 2 days,no shower due to thermostat non function producing only boiling hot water.Tried to fix but didn't work,no shower that evening.Next day,put new thermo, didn't work either and again no ...
My family had wanted to take a Mediterranean cruise for years, and after completing six domestic cruises in the U.S., we decided to finally take a giant leap over the pond for a European cruise. Simply put, when booking with Costa, shame on me for not doing research; I was unaware I was booking with the European version of Celebrity Cruises! Upon onboard it, our first impression was that the Costa ...
We chose this trip based on ports selected by YMT. Ports were great---cruise---worst ever. Everything you get on Costa costs you---even water!! Had to buy water pkg for $37. Glass of water at bar costs. Food was horrible---attractive looking in dining room but almost same selections nightly. If you're a pasta lover you might survive. Almost same offerings daily in buffett. No lobster or ...
Exceptionally rude customer service, you raise a complaint and they do nothing, just deny it and refuse it happened. Never any apologies. Service so bad, it becomes irritating and the food is tasteless and very little of it, Have to pay for water even for medication and tea/coffee only free at breakfast time and between 4 and 5.30 in the afternoon. Buffet also stops during the day and you ...
Not recommended for English speaking or US residents. The staff are disrespectful, rude, very unorganized, never on time, staff never smiles, once cruise over never says thanks or acknowledges you. This is an international ship that provides for the Italians. Boring itinerary, no courtesy shuttle having all ports too far to destination highlights and Costa will rip your wallet on charging too much ...
We cruised on this ship in December 2015. The ship itself was very clean and well maintained if somewhat flamboyant in the decor, still everyone's taste is different.
However if you are English speaking beware. The announcements on board were given in 4 languages, English being one of them, but so heavily accented that we could not understand them. The staff all seemed to struggle with English ...
Just got off this cruise, and could not get off the ship fast enough.
Firstly, the OBNOXIOUS, LOUD, rap music playing non stop throughout the ship was so aggravating. Despite complaining it continued all week. The irony was that the average passenger age was probably 65 . Who would allow such annoying music to be played?
The cruise director was argumentative, incompetent and narcissistic. ...
Good things 1st. Locations visted and sail times great. But more time in Dubrovnic would have been better than corfu(everything shut from 2_4pm. So not much to do after a morning excersion and being there all day).
Our room attendent Venus very helpful, as was barmen I Made and Nhorman.
Thats where the good stops.
Embarkation was long and painful, and we,ve done 5 other cruises , this ...
