We choose a nice cruise from Savona around the Mediterranian Sea.
But very bad service, unfriendly crew and bar members at the pool area and also in the main restaurant.
At a White Party Night, waiters going around with a trolley and want to sell you "White Sangria", you have to pay fot it extra. 6 Euro for a glass of Sangria !!
French fries / burgers after 5 pm also for extra paying ...
EMBARKATION
This took about 40 minutes end-to-end, which was much faster than other cruises I have been on.
Disembarkation at ports was well managed and fast, aside from one occasion when it was complete chaos after a docking delay, as passengers were not provided with revised timings. Timely information was provided on the procedure at ports, plus advice on local customs, tourist ...
We Booked the Costa Fortuna, as we had had such a good cruise on the Costa Pacifica. We had a Large cabin with broken shower, broken heating system and a Leaking tap on sink, Damaged shower curtain, hence water on the floor and the Tv control did not function. Not a good start.
We found the food was of poor quality and was always served warm or cold, never a hot meal in a week. Poor selection ...
Costa Fortuna is a ship I would not recommend. My wife and I cruised several times with Celebritiy, NCL and Royal Caribbean and we just loved it, especially Celebrity.
This ship is maybe a 3 Star vessel, but definitely not more. Staff is the unfriendliest we encountered, which is a real surprise, because most members of staff are from the Philippines and being unpolite is against their nature. ...

My partner and I booked a last minute deal for a Mediterranean cruise on the Costa Fortuna departing from Savona, Italy on April 10, 2015. Our cruise ship visited Marseille, Barcelona, La Valletta, Cagliari, and Civitavecchia. We were immediately ...
We were 2 couples traveling together for a 7 night Greek cruise. I have always wanted to visit Greece and after reviewing other cruise lines, I decided on Costa Fortuna. We arrived in Milan on Saturday, and had time to explore the city. Monday morning we took a train to Venice, arriving around 10:30 am. Costa allowed us to check in our luggage before embarkation for 5 euros each. We then proceeded ...
I'll split my comments in a few subjects in order to make it easier for the reader to get what was OK and what wasn't.
Good things first. The waiters serving our table during the dinners, Paulo and Mario, were just fantastic. They were quite fast, solicit, kind and always prone to help. We were in a table with people from Portugal, and since our native language is supposed to be Portuguese they ...
This was my 5th cruise and my husband's 3rd with all prior cruises being on Celebrity ships. We chose the cruise for the itinerary, as it went to most of the ports we wanted to experience in the Western Mediterranean. We flew into Venice Sunday morning at 11am to make sure were there in time to embark on Monday and also because we love Venice. It is well worth it to make time to spend in Venice, ...
Let me first start by telling everyone that is planning this trip =>> Make sure that your connecting flights from US to Savona or any other connecting city is at least a few hours apart. Mine was only 35 min and I missed it because we spent 45 min on the runway in New York's JFK airport due to traffic.
Please take a small carry on with all the necessary toiletries and 2-3 days worth of ...
