WORSE CRUISE EVER

We were really excited to be going on the Costa Fortuna cruise ship. We arranged for the appropriate visas for Cambodia, travel insurance and up to date passports as these were required documentations BY COSTA, otherwise you would be denied boarding the cruise. Well to start off, we were NOT EVEN ASKED for these documentations upon arrival and second, WE DID NOT NEED TO DO THE VISAS AS COSTA WOULD ...

Part of a package of 4 Cruises. We are a couple in our mid 70s who have been on several cruises and this is our first Costa Cruise. Cabin - spacious. Crew - overworked but wonderfully friendly, courteous and helpful. However, *No ice- bucket in cabin in spite of it being a Premium Balcony - whatever Premium means in the Mediterranean. The fridge was not called. *We only had ...

Chose this cruise because of the hot deal of $400pp, the timing was perfect for us, and we had a need to pamper ourselves with downtime and get away from the awful year we had endured. Planned to relax in the sun on our balcony and while away the hours. We looked forward to a couple of familiar ports and good food and warm weather. The tour of Italy menu for the dining room interested us also. ...

Costa Fortuna December 17-30, 2019 Singapore FIRST TIME COSTA, NEVER COSTA AGAIN!!! I would never book a three star cruise, BUT four star (****) when booked turned into three star (***) when sailed, and three stars is debatable!!! ***THE GOOD FOOD lettuce cheese bread fruit (honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple) burgers and fries, poolside SHIP Public ...

You don’t have to read all of this and you don’t have to trust my review. Just do yourself a favor and “JUST DON’T DO IT” Unfortunately due to high tides this cruise docked in Trieste instead of Venice. This was supposed to be my dream vacation to Venice, turned nightmare. Not because of uncontrollable natural elements. Costa had no control over. It was the service on this ship. This was the ...

EMBARKATION This took about 40 minutes end-to-end, which was much faster than other cruises I have been on. Disembarkation at ports was well managed and fast, aside from one occasion when it was complete chaos after a docking delay, as passengers were not provided with revised timings. Timely information was provided on the procedure at ports, plus advice on local customs, tourist ...

The cruise was okay. We scheduled several tours through Costa and the Argostoli Greece was awesome. The next day in Santorini Greece, we bought that tour and when it came to getting our tickets out, the tour had been canceled and no one told us why. It seemed like it made the staff mad that we even asked where our tickets were. They finally told us they had no english guides to take us on ...

Boarding: boarding in Kiel took hours. I’m new to cruising, but it seemed rather disorganized with little possibility for seating. The terminal in Kiel was an uncomfortable , utilitarian facility. None of the screens were working, Costa Personnel were walking around with signs to tell people which groups were boarding. Ship’s decor: the ship has a musical “theme” which is so tasteless and ...

Summary - if your only language is English, it is best to avoid, it is heavily weighted towards Italian, including language, entertainment, food, majority of guests. You Que for almost everything, a lot of items were extra cost and it is not a budget cruise. Quick tips – Avoid Costa if you can only speak English. Carefully select your drinks package to suit, select your evening meal timings ...
