First whats good - The price! This was the cheapest cruise we've been on - The nightlife - Compared to many other cruises the nightlife was great on Costa - Embarkation in Barcelona was very smooth but I expect this was because the cruise took on most of it's passengers in Marseille and Savona -The drinks package was very reasonable What's bad - The lack of choice , There's very little ...

The cabins and cabin service was excellent except that my veranda had no lounge chair, two dirty patio chairs and was showered daily by coal soot from the chimney. The Food in formal restaurant was pretty mediocre, overcooked fish, undercooked pasta, blend chewy poultry, tastless tomatoes (For June in Italy) and horrible lettuce, although they tried for grandiose 6 course dinners. Wines are ...

Overview: We just returned from the Costa Serena's West Med/Canary Island 11 nightmare cruise and conclude that Costa is not interested in a long-term relationship. Although the ship was beautiful and new and the itinerary was good, it was an absolutely abominable cruise - by far the worst of the 13 I've been on and our entire table of eight Americans (well over 100 cruises total) agreed on one ...
