The pool areas are nice, and have retractable roofs in case it rains. It does get a bit hot when the roof is extended.

The Caribbean sunsets were some of the best parts of this cruise. Especially if you got to see them from the top decks while leaving port.

Embarking and disembarking were easy and quick. The cabin (although was a little small) was comfortable and clean. The food (dinner) was a little disappointing in terms of portion but is very tasty. The facilities were good but i was expecting a little more things to do while sailing. The pools and hot tubs were always busy so didn’t get to enjoy them. However, we found ourselves enjoying a vast ...

Having read some of the previous reviews, we were a bit worried about taking this cruise. However, overall it warrants the four stars I have given it. The service throughout the ship was mostly very good, which was good as you cannot remove the service charge of 10 Euros per person a day on any Costa ship. The ship was in a pretty good condition, but it is starting to show a few signs of ...

Wonderful Cruise With Costa Pacifica

Single traveler on 'Isole Del Sole' cruise with 'Costa Pacifica' from Savona. I chose this cruise to experience 'Costa Crociere', Madeira and Canary Islands with some more sea days again. Embarkation - The process from arrival at the terminal to my stateroom took about 2 hours, but I was repeatedly addressed in German, my native language. The stateroom was not yet ready at shortly after ...

Costa Pacifica 9th Oct 16.  Savona, Marseille, Ajaccio, Cagliari, La Valletta, Rome, Savona.  Some nice ports on this short cruise even we ventured ashore in two of them decent weather made my slow walking enjoyable.  Our second time on the Pacifica not much had changed so we knew our way round, very easy embarkation  due to our Suite booking, was dreading the queues at Savona after the new ...

We choose this cruise because we wanted to see a bit of France and the fact that it was from Malta to Malta our country. it was rather a late booking so we had to be content with the dates available. The cheaper price made it more attractive. Embarkation went smoothly but disembarkation at Malta port terminal was rather hectic. We had to walk a long way with considerable luggage since there ...

Cruise ticket stated 'Embarkation from 13.00; sailing 15.00', arrived at Savona at 12.55, given slot '20' and told to wait until number was called. By 15.00, they were dealing with batch 7! The terminal was loading two ships, about 6000 people, seats for about 1500. Noisy, crowded, cramped and bored children! Pay cafe had two staff serving, so again queues for service! No seating available for ...

Our main objective was to see certain ports/sites & this ship did that. We looked @ Costa as a floating hotel. For this reason we were satisfied. If I were choosing for just a 'cruise experience' I'd try another line/ship. Embark, very easy. Cabin 6391 wonderful. Loads of storage. Triple rm (we had our teen daughter) cabin layout well thought out, veranda was really a plus, used it a lot- it ...

I loved my cruise!

I was a little hesitant to take this cruise due to many negative reviews. I found that many of those were due to the fact that the ship is filled with mostly foreigners. This is true. I personally do not travel to Europe to be with Americans, therefore that did not matter to me; however, it does to many. BTW, I do not speak Italian or French and most people were from Italy or France. I am a ...

Costa Pacifica - A last minute bargain 5 day Med cruise

When we saw the ad for a 5 night cruise for less than £100, in a premium balcony cabin to boot, we thought it would be extremely rude not to......and so we booked for the Costa Pacifica short Med cruise. The prospect of sailing from Savona was a bit daunting, as I had no idea how we would get to it independently. However, I discovered that Costa themselves were running transfer coached from ...

We enjoyed our cruise on Pacifica. Overall the staff was great. Marvin our steward and Tiki and Putu our waiters were outstanding. Always a smile - always enthusiastic. The ship was spotless and our cabin comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size. Loved the concept of the chocolate bar. It was good - could have been much better. More on that later. The iitinerary was great: Rome, ...
