You don’t have to read all of this and you don’t have to trust my review. Just do yourself a favor and “JUST DON’T DO IT” Unfortunately due to high tides this cruise docked in Trieste instead of Venice. This was supposed to be my dream vacation to Venice, turned nightmare. Not because of uncontrollable natural elements. Costa had no control over. It was the service on this ship. This was the ...

This was the ONLY cruise ship available for the one week we could sail and go to the ports we wanted to visit. The food was sub-par. The crew was miserable and literally opened up about how poorly they're treated and paid by Costa. Ever since Carnival Cruise Lines purchased Costa, everything's gone downhill. The entertainment was extremely poor. The dancers acted as if they were ...

Summary - if your only language is English, it is best to avoid, it is heavily weighted towards Italian, including language, entertainment, food, majority of guests. You Que for almost everything, a lot of items were extra cost and it is not a budget cruise. Quick tips – Avoid Costa if you can only speak English. Carefully select your drinks package to suit, select your evening meal timings ...

I took a Costa cruise 35 years ago, before Carnival got in the picture, and had a wonderful time with a friend for 3 nights! As I was celebrating my 60th birthday this year, I wanted to do another cruise. After reading some of the reviews on Costa, I was worried, but trusted my gut and with with them. We got a suite for my birthday. If you like to drink, it's definitely worth it! It also ...

We chose Costa as at the time RCL and NCL were already booked. Unfortunately we could not booked this cruise earlier in the year due to work schedule, etc. According to Costa website is “ Italy’s Finest “ with a slogan of providing every guest with a pleasant experience from our Italian heritage. We have to give kudos to the check in process, ship was clean and elegant, cabin was clean and ...

We feel we are a good judge of cruises this being our 26th, the Embarkation seem slow but we were on board by 2pm & I will say that this ship is well presented & our Cabin was good & the Public area's very good. My first surprise was the Cabin Steward asked us when he should come to our Cabin morning or evening, we have never been asked that before but we opted for the morning & that was it. No ...

I read a lot of bad critics before going but we really enjoyed the cruise. Sure there were things we would like to change but overall it was a good one. -the embarkation was at venice. We went with the people mover from piazza roma ( tip- remember to buy tickets for the coming back to venice and skip the lines at the ticket machine). The embarkation is very very slow! We waited more then 2 ...

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary mostly. Even though I had heard negative comments for Costa, I thought I might try it. No cruise line is perfect. There was a slight language barrier, but that was to be expected. It was an Italian ship. The food was HORRIBLE. Everything was extra. Everything on the ship was in other languages, so it was difficult to participate. ...

This was my 3rd cruise on Costa and absolutely terrible. The port times were by far the shortest of all the cruise ships. I emailed the cruise line numerous times to ensure one of the three cabins are a twin (and received confirmation in writing it will be done) which did not happen. There was a number of hidden expenses, with a total of nearly 500euros. Previously when on a cruise I was used ...
