My wife and I wanted a good price, port visits to places we had not visited (Genoa, Herculaneum and Valleta, Malta) and a return visit after 30 years or so to Barcelona. We had spent 2 nights on our own long ago in downtown Palermo, but knew there was more to see. Costa offered all the right ports and a good price. MSC Cruises had a much larger ship (3200 passengers vs 2100), visited Rome, not ...
The ship was very grand, I loved the style , Value for money too , food excellent, cabin excellent as the service.
Entertainment very enjoyable. What really stood out for me and made my holiday very special was the Hungarian Latin Dance Group.
They were four oustanding professionals and kind human beings, the band playing was superb and so the pianist, all staff was very good nothing was to ...
We have cruised several times before with Costa and we were very happy with our second cruise on the Fascinosa. We are young retirees and we love the constant buzz of this lively Italian cruise line. Embarkation in Barcelona was smooth and efficient.
We personally think the itinerary on this Mediterranean cruise is really nice with some beautiful and interesting ports. We like to do our own ...
We started travelling in Barcelona then visited Ibiza, Mallorca, Palermo, Naples, Savona and back to Barcelona.
Minuses: not enough English on board and in the excursion program. Too much to wait dinner dishes (2 hours). We did not like early arriving to the ports. Sometimes too little time to visit the cities (for example in Naples we were only 6 hours).
Pluses: The ship is new. Everything ...

My wife 53 and I 65, booked this cruise in mid May out of Barcelona for an anniversary. We actually found this Costa cruise after we could not get a booking on our first cruise ship choice. We are we glad it worked out that way. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this cruise.ship and the pricing.

The ship was excellent always clean and well maintained well done to the captain and his entire crew. The Latin dance lessons was brilliant and well presented best we've had. The entertainment was Plentyfull something for everyone on board. A high standard was set by the entertainers on the ship.
The crew in general was excellent. The service on deck 9 in the buffet lounge was good the food ...
This is the newest ship in Costa's fleet and its big. The design is modern, rather than classic, but tastefully done. Cabins and balconies are slightly larger than average and there is plentiful public area seating when the weather is wet. Food is very good and drink prices are not the worst on the high seas.
The area that really surprised us was the excellent service levels. For a large ship ...
Staff are wonderful, Food superb (lots of choice from Buffet - several different service statons offering different sorts of meals - so wander around first before you decide!! (preferred it to main restaurant as two sittings one is very early (18:30) and one is very late (21:15)). Gym excellent and Pilates and Yoga also on offer. Security very good. Everyone speaks english though some of the ...
