The check in process was very tedious but once we arrived at our suite I was surprised to see it was much smaller than expected. Balcony was cramped also. Barely enough room for 2 seats. Staff were a mixed bag of emotions to be honest. Some very happy, others seemed like they had enough. Food was good. Breakfast buffet was average but the ala carte was much better.

The crew on the hospitality area aren’t friendly. Their smiles are very expensive. I am reluctant to fall in line as if I am about to be punished for a mistake i have done.
The Filipino waiters are so sympathetic on Ristorante Florante. They are the ones who are ready to help.

I choose this cruise for the visit to Naples. I was disappointed with the food. too me the buffet was very blan and the dinners where not anything special. If the cooking was Italian at it´s best then I would query this.

Firstly i wish to draw attention for other travellers to what happened to us:
It clearly states on our invoice to pay by bank transfer, we were told initially when to do so which we did, however Costa subsequently made a deduction for the same amount of 3000 euros from the original card which we had used to make the deposit 12 months earlier, despite my saying not to use this card again.

This cruise came up as part of a very cheap package deal including flights and 2 nights in Barcelona. I had read some reviews and my expectations were not high but for the money I wouldn't have complained if we got 2 hammocks above the engines.
