Poor cruise

I chose this cruise because it was going to Greenland. I boarded in Bremerhaven. Boarding there was chaotic. We had opted for an inside cabin, because it is financially better. In addition, we had booked a number of excursions. In IJmuiden a day of your own in Amsterdam. On the boat it was again chaotic, the time that we had to report was exceeded, without us being informed by ...

After 3 years of wait book a 2 week cruise from Kiel to Marseille Start with food or the lack of you have to ask for everything (yes everything) even salt and pepper shakers. The dinning room is not much better The service was ok and the excursion were good when they didn't cancel the ones you picked Room was normal size with a non working fridge and a window view of a deck ...

Last Cruise with Costa

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Diadema

Embarkation went well. Cabin was worn out. We had a grand suite but that was it. Food in the restaurants are way below any quality level. Even the pay restaurants are a joke. Had ordered a lobster it was inedible. Club diadema (private restaurant) it's a joke. I've never had such a bad meal on vacation. English is not understood on this ship. Italians do not speak this language. The ...

We gave this a 1 only because of the spacious and well-organized ocean view cabins. However we will never sail on Costa again. There were numerous problems from even before we sailed - *user-unfriendly website One example: the option for buying Internet package disappeared about 2 weeks before sailing - "yes, there's a problem. It's not working" forcing anyone who hadn't bought already to buy ...

The restaurant staff very professional and well trained. Out cabine room was superficial clean every day lots of dust and the bedsheets not changed for the entire week. The excursion staff lack of knowledge and very rude not happy to offer any excursions in English unless is just downtown were we can go by ourselves. We we looking forward to have a nice hiking and engage with nature but NOT ...

Terrible Ship, Terrible Service, Terrible Costa

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Magica

I decided to cruise with Costa because they offer affordable trips to Scandinavia. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst cruise I have ever been on. The ship itself was in pretty good condition. The inside felt cheap but comfortable. The ship's layout was fairly confusing and they were constantly ripping up carpet all over due to a bad smell. The inside cabin's are small but comfortable, and ...

This whole cruise experience was awful in so many ways. 1. Cleanliness: In the hallway outside our cabin it constantly smelled like sewage. Our toilet malfunctioned several times, threatening to overflow into the bathroom floor. The white towels and bath mat had coin-size brown stains on them. Carpets are filthy and stained, dining linen does not appear to be changed, and we encountered ...

Have just completed cruise with Costa from Stockholm to Russia back to Stockholm and then down to Italy. Total around 21 days. Ship was built in 2004. Although I suffered from food poisoning on the last night, Dining in Restaurants and Buffett was quite good. Accommodation although a bit dated was good and consider room quite comfortable with a good mattress. The waiters and room attendants were ...

Costa is H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

Let me just start by saying this: if Costa cruise line offered me an all expenses paid cruise to any of their destinations, I wouldn't take it. Costa is H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. If you haven't booked them yet, please trust me and save your money. I am on the ship right now as I type. I simply couldn't wait until I got home to do this review because I am so angry and disappointed. We are so miserable and ...
