Costa Serena Cruise Review: A Nightmare at Sea Our family's first cruise aboard the Costa Serena unfolded as a series of disappointments and frustrations, overshadowing any fleeting moments of satisfaction. From start to finish, the journey was marred by significant shortcomings and lapses in service, painting a grim picture of our cruise experience. The Depths of Disappointment: 1. Chaos ...

This was the first time our family have ever gone for a cruise. Before this, we had googled and saw some reviews but the nightmare started at the port itself. Hwajing the organiser in working partnership with Costa - didnt do a good planning. With thousands of guests checking in plus an islamic group tour as well, it was chaos and there was certainly an attitude to care for the elderly and ...

Bad bad experience

The following are my comments after disembarking: A group of 15 of us thought we could travel together happily, but we were extremely angry. . . . 1. The hull is a bit old and rust can be seen in many places. 2. You only have to eat 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner). There was no supper. 3. The food was basically the same for three days. The breakfast is 90% the ...

worst cruise ever and no value for money paid

Review for a Malaysia Cruise on Costa Serena

I booked Costa Serena Cruise from Malaysia (Port Klang - Penang - Phuket), travelled on 19-22 Jan 2024 and I felt this was the worst cruise experience ever. I paid USD1000 plus (premium balcony) for 2 pax. RC and Genting Cruise rooms facilities are far better. Costa rooms lack toiletries, with only soap and pulp body shower gel (syampoo/body gel all in) available, a small bathroom, no coffee ...

This was the first time our family have ever gone for a cruise. Hwajing the organiser in working partnership with costa - bad management. With thousands of guests checking in, all stuck at the dining area with the reason with (rooms were not ready yet) it was chaos. Rooms carpet bit smelly & dusty, toilet is bit clogged Food was really not fantastic, we are vegetarian and the choice of ...

WORSE CRUISE EVER

Review for a Asia Cruise on Costa Fortuna

We were really excited to be going on the costa fortuna cruise ship. We arranged for the appropriate visas for cambodia, travel insurance and up to date passports as these were required documentations by costa, otherwise you would be denied boarding the cruise. Well to start off, we were not even asked for these documentations upon arrival and second, we did not need to do the visas as costa would ...

I had high hopes about my first cruise with Costa. Needless to say they were wasted. This 2 week cruise was part of a six week package which incuded 4 weeks with P&O. Information about the Costa cruise line was sparse as my booking agent had not had dealings with them before. So here's your feedback. Pay for water! No free tea or coffee after breakfast! Surly staff who don't ...

Disappointing

Embarkation was very disappointing. There was absolutely no system of boarding the ship. On board everything was Italian themed. Even the quizzing and bingo was in Italian. If you are sailing in international waters you need to make allowances for other passengers as well because not only are Italians travelling on your ship but other nationalities. I think one of the bars should have had ...

Went on Costa Fortuna for about 2 weeks (2 adults 2 children) just came back. We have great things to say about the staff in restaurants, buffet and room service. The food was good and catered for food allergies. Although that’s it for the positives the rest was terrible. Spa manager was very rude, not all the gym classes booked online are available on ship. Took 6 attempts to get refunded. Kids ...

I was really excited to go on this cruise ship, as it was going to Thailand and Cambodia and starting at Singapore. It was for an affordable price and it was going to Asia, so why not! First off, the food was beyond horrible, and that’s an understatement. I’ve been on around 10 cruises and I know what good food tastes like on cruises, so when comparing it to other cruises, this one was at the very ...
