We cruised on Marella Explorer for two weeks from Corfu from 6th October to the Adriatic and the Aegean. Our only complaint was about flying into and out of Corfu Airport, absolute chaos!! And try as hard as they do there is nothing Tui can do about it. We will never fly to Corfu again.
This was our first cruise with Marella having only cruised previously with P&O. The Marella Explorer ...
From embarking to disembarking we had an amazing time!!!!
We tried a balcony cabin for the first time and it was a brilliant choice. Cabin staff were very efficient and friendly.
We dined every night in the Latitude 53 restaurant as the food and staff were exceptional, we also had the pleasure of dining on Paul Dalandan's (Quality Paul!!) dining station along with his wonderful team every ...
This was my first cruise and I was uncertain that I would like it. I had a fab time and would now definitely cruise again. What I liked about this ship was the friendly, informal atmosphere. The entertainment was really great from the extremely slick Broadway type shows (the singing and dancing were excellent) to the gameshows in the Squid and Anchor pub. Quizzes and other entertainments were ...
We chose to take our first cruise with Marella after having it recommended by my sister and we were not disappointed!
We chose the Ionian trip, for seven days . We sailed on the Explorer which was a beautiful ship aimed at giving its passengers the best experience ! the staff are amazing people, multi national and always smiling! The restaurants were all well organised, Latitude 53 have the ...
We chose this cruise as we wanted to see the islands of Greece and Turkey. The staff on this ship were so friendly and helpful, especially the hospitality we received from 'Samiro' who worked the pool deck during the day and then the Squid and Anchor bar in the evening, such a gentleman and was very attentive to us.. The food on the ship was lovely and there was always something to cater for ...
We wanted to visit Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro that is why we chose this cruise.
We were over the moon with the ship, it is stunning, the entertainment is outstanding, I would have paid to see these shows.
The food, every member of staff were simply outstanding.
We paid the extra £50.00 to upgrade our all inclusive package and we felt it well worth it.
Excellent quality cocktails, ...
First cruise so have nothing to gauge it on but found it wonderful. Nightmare start with over a 5 hour delay but as soon as we got to Corfu airport at 2:30am staff were great getting us on coaches then embarkation just as good even though flight had delayed ship we were swiftly put on ship so could sail asap.
All the staff were very attentive and Julio our cabin steward was so nice and ...
The embarkation day we arrived to the cruise terminal around 4 pm. After the security the Hotel manager Robert was waiting us and the other passengers, the steward took our baggage and Robert accompany us until the ship gangway where found Claudia , the cruise director, she welcome us with champagne and canapes and ask for our passport and she gave us the key card. Very easy and smooth ...
This was our first time cruising and we wanted a smaller or mid sized ship with a balcony. Discovery 2 fits that bill. My wife and I, both in our 60s, would thoroughly recommend this cruise. Cabin 7006 with balcony was excellent in every way. In particular it had plenty of power points. One USA, one European and three USBs, one under each wall light.. We ate largely in 47 degrees the main dining ...
I wasn't expecting much from this cruise - having been once before with P&O on Ventura and finding the food to be absolutely dire for the price we paid - but the itinerary and local flights from Cardiff to Corfu suited us so decided to go for my 40th birthday with my mother. And what a completely different experience it was!
Firstly, I am not a fan of all-inclusive and haven't done such a ...
