I have cruised 4 times with Princess. Twice on the Grand, once on the Dawn and now the Coral. Although I've never been unhappy with any of the experiences aboard a Princess ship I must say the Coral experience was most certainly the best. I just returned from the Southbound Alaska sailing from Aug. 27th to September 3rd. My wife and I traveled along with one other couple. Both of us are in our ...
Thanks to cruise critic reviewers advice, our group of four adults had an enjoyable vacation in Alaska. We did a connoisseur package, 7 night cruise north from Vancouver then did the land portion for 5 nights. Two nights at Denali Princess, two nights at Mt. McKinley Princess, one night at Captain Cook hotel in Anchorage and flew home from there.
We stayed at the Westin in Vancouver before ...
My mom and I just got back from the northbound Voyage of the Glaciers cruise. We absolutely loved it! There is literally something for everyone. We departed from Vancouver and did an excursion in each of the ports: Ketchikan - Misty Fjords Wilderness Cruise, Juneau - Salmon Hatchery, Mendenhall Glacier & Salmon Bake, Skagway - White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. We also added the land ...
While the non-specialty coffee is below par our party of 4 found the food to be excellent. As in most cruise ships the buffet area is noisy, hetic and crowded the Provence dining room for breakfast, lunch and diner was excellent. Every course every night had excellent choices and both e meat and fish were very good. The International Cafe for coffee and pastry, sandwiches and cookies was ...
We chose the Coral Princess southbound as we wanted to be in Banff on a certain date. Booking was easy and our travel agent told them we were celebrating our silver anniversary and special birthdays.
Having read the previous reviews we were somewhat anxious that the cabins would be sub-standard, there would be long queues and the facilities would tired and needing repair. What we found was the ...
Just magical. The scenery was excellent. The service was way above my expectations. The room as comfortable. All the amenities we comfortable. The food was top of the line. The cruise line left no stone unturned in its efforts to make us feel that we were special guests and not just customers. There were so many things to do on the ship and so many tour options in each port that it was ...
Coral Princess was an excellent cruise ship for Alaska. Embarkation from Vancouver went smoothly for American but we heard that for foreign citizens it took much longer. Went to the ports of Ketchican, Juneau and Skagway. Cruised Glacier Bay and College Fjord.
The First night onboard.. I would go to early dinner in the dining room but get there early because it can get very crowded that first ...
We had a fantastic time on our Alaskan cruise! We arrived the night before and stayed at The Captain Cook hotel. Nice, large room with a great view. Easy walk to the Egan Center to check in for our transfer to Whitter. We had an hour so walked around for a little while. The hour and a half drive was nice. Our driver narrated for us. Embarkation was pretty quick. We were given a map of the ship and ...
We really enjoyed our Alaskan land/cruise the ship is a bit smaller then a lot of the ships however the staff was friendly and really hustled to be sure the guest experience was a pleasant one. The entertainment was excellent but, I think they need to run later shows for people who enjoy the night more.
The voyage through Glacier Bay was spectacular they had park rangers on board who gave ...
Our cruise planner suggested that we use Princess for our cruise line as it seemed to fit our senior lifestyle the best. It was a great suggestion and made our cruise all the better. We took the 11 day north bound cruise-tour (7 days at sea and 4 days on land) embarking at Vancouver, B.C. We arrived pier-side at noon and embarkation went smoothly for us. We hear that for others that arrived as ...
