We chose this Baltic cruise for our Golden Wedding treat principally because it spent 3 days in St Petersburg, which I've never visited, and was a small ship. Loved itinerary especially grateful for several sea days, which is a bit unusual for port-intensive Oceania. Wanted to escape the heat of the Mid-Atlantic and try a longer cruise. We choose Oceania on the recommendation of some friends who had taken their cruise in Alaska. In looking at the itinerary I saw that on Nautica's August 28, 2016 itinerary, there were some ports we had not been to so that is why I choose Oceania. Just back from our first but not last Oceania cruise.We did a 12 day Baltic cruise in verandah stateroom aft on deck 6. Great location. Quiet. Handy for the Terrace Cafe. Used the stairs all the time. Room is small. Balcony furniture is old and uncomfortable. Great bed and bedding.
