Overall, the cruise was wonderful. The excursions were excellent and the guides were well informed. One exception to the excursions was a guide that left part of the group without notice. It was part of a special Viking promotion. The ship, itself, was excellent and the service was excellent. The Restaurant meals were excellent and the waitstaff was efficient and friendly. We were disappointed in some of the included shore excursions as we felt as if we had not gained a sense of the city. Informal, impromptu, catered to our every need, every detail covered. Super easy getting on and off. Definitely going again on the Mediterranean next time.
