Fantastic itinerary made the cruise great.

This was our 11th Cruise on NCL and second time on the Dawn. As always we had a great time. Every cruise is what you make of it. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. St. Petersburg was originally on the schedule but was dropped for obvious reasons. It was replaced by an overnight in Helsinki and a stop in Visby good choices. Embarkation went smooth we arrived a little earlier ...

An enjoyable uncrowded trip

We booked this cruise well over a year before it left. The primary reason we chose this cruise was the stop in St Petersburg, Russia. Of course that was cancelled and while we considered canceling our trip as well, we didn't and I am so glad we didn't. While we were disappointed in the loss of that port I think that the itinerary was made up with the addition of Germany and Poland. While I do ...

Not a Baltic but Transatlantic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

The 14/06/22 departure was not a Baltic cruise but a 13 nights repositioning cruise from Copenhagen to Port Canaveral. On arrival at Copenhagen Airport I was surprised by the very well organised Norwegian meet and greet. It took about one hour before they started transportation to the ship. Some people got nervous, expected huge lines at check in, and preferred to take a taxi. There was no ...

So, I said I would be back soon. After a week home for work. It was time to walk the gangway again on Voyager of the seas. This time by my partner in-crime. Mr Norwaylady. He was super excited to finally walk the gangway again after 2.5 years and lots of cancelled cruises…. So his point of excitement and expectations was as mine last trip, it’s a CRUISE. And the ports of call, area was not ...

We chose this cruise strictly based on the number of new countries it stopped at (I was aiming for my 100th country) and the time of year (around my birthday in May). We really enjoyed it. Of particular note was the service on the ship. We had excellent service from the following individuals: -Punia, the water at the Mojito Bar - star of the show! Helped us every morning and afternoon, chatted ...

We chose this cruise to visit places we had never been. We spent extra time in Copenhagen and enjoyed our visit there. The ship was very nice, clean and well maintained and all of the crew were gracious and helpful. The restaurants on the ship were good but the food in the buffet was so good that we chose to eat in the buffet most of the time. The excursions are not worth the money or ...

My husband and I got married in the courthouse swearing we would have a wedding eventually! Wellllll 3 years later we decided to use the money we were saving to go on a trip! We chose this journey across the atlantic and we are so happy we did we absolutely loved it! the only small negative is that the water was too rough to pull into ponta del gata so we were at sea for like 7 days straight. Not ...

I chose this cruise for the transatlantic itinerary. We did our first TA last year on a different line and loved it. We tried to book it a year out onboard a different NCL ship but it was sold out. Kept looking online and eventually snagged a guarantee minisuite. After final payment and closer to sailing, the prices dropped and we upgraded ourselves to a Haven spa minisuite. We couldn’t be happier ...

Overall a great experience

We chose this cruise because it ended in New Orleans, right across the lake from our home town of Slidell. We have never been to Europe and thought it would be a good opportunity to see our roots, and loved the idea of a transatlantic crossing. We flew on our own to Copenhagen two days early, and thank goodness we did because our flights got delayed due to weather and took many more hours ...

We have sailed with NCL before and feel that they give fair value for the money. They have always treated us with respect, and we find their food and entertainment to our satisfaction. We missed a port in the Azores due to weather conditions, but nobody other than God is to blame for that. It was more important to maintain the safety of those on board than cater to our desires. The transferring ...
