Pampered and well fed
"We thought we booked the same line we took on another cruise, but it turned out to be the Crystal Serenity, which was even better. The staff were happy, which we like because it means the company treats them well,..."Read More

Magnificent Cruise of Northern Isles and the Baltic

Zuiderdam - The Ship Older ship, but renovated in 2017. Maintenance is never ending for ships. Each port day we observed, scraping, painting and power washing. And, yet, there still are areas of rust and wear. But, overall, the ship was well maintained. Deck crew worked hard, long days. A few of the public rooms were too small for their intended purpose. For example: BB King ...

We chose this trip because of it's itinerary. My wife wanted to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph in Paris, France. Also, she wanted to visit London and see Buckingham Palace. London has so many historical and majestic sites. Big Ben was under renovations. The House of Commons and Parliment had many protestors for and against Brexit. Westminster Abbey is very beautiful. Buckingham ...

First time cruising outside of the Caribbean and first time on NCL. This is NOT a one and done but a forever go-to cruise line. Exceptional food, service, cleanliness of the ship, professional staff and there is always something to do. The suites were perfect size with modern features and lighting along with the balcony being the perfect size for coffee in the morning. The food was exceptional ...

We travelled in late Sep - Baltic sailing. Despite the fact that temperatures on this later season sailing were quite cool (10 C – 16C), I would say that this is an excellent time to do a Baltic cruise. Firstly, there are far less crowds and secondly, the cruise fare is more reasonable. We were also able to secure a Haven 2 bed cabin at an excellent fare. Embarkation We took a taxi from ...

Just got off The Getaway on the Sept 14th 9 day Btic cruise and wanted to give a quick review. I will attempt to add photos later. Going to review specific places and things rather than a day by day. EMBARKATION: We arrived at the port by taxi and it didn't take too long to get through security and check in. Probably all within 30 minutes and then we were on board. Cabins still were not ...

Princess Cruises with the Regal was outstanding. We are elite so we have a few cruises with Princess but this time the entire staff: dinning room waiter (Herbert), assistance waiter (Veljko), dinning room manager (Norbert), dinning room hostess(Yaniris), and room steward (Carlos) were exceptional with friendly attitude, willingness to provide service, interest in our activities on ship and in ...

The Baltic countries have always been an area of the world that my husband and I have wanted to see. Norwegian Cruise Lines is the expert in this region. They have a great itinerary and they do it affordably. We traveled as a party of 2. We took the plunge and booked the 9 day Baltic cruise on NCL. We left the US on September 4th and arrived in Copenhagen on September 5th for Day ...

We are long time Windstar cruisers. We have been on 15 plus cruises over 25 years. We have been through several owners and have been on almost all the ships. The quality of everything ebbs and flows but the consistently fabulous, warm and friendly crew keeps us coming back. This particular cruise was a standout. So many things have improved....the food was better than usual and in some cases ...

Loved the ship. The layout was not as open as some ships I have been on but there were tons of drinking and dining options to enjoy. The top deck and outside areas were not used much due to weather on this particular cruise. Having said that a balcony room is a great plus on this cruise as the Baltic is small and you will get to see lots of things out your window on a daily basis especially ...
