Regent Voyager Baltic: great but room for improvement

2-5 Cruises

we chose this cruise for an anniversary celebration and because we neither of us had been to the Baltic Area. St Petersburg was a real draw. Overall the ship was a great experience and the Baltic 10 day cruise Copenhagen to Stockholm was the trip of a lifetime. We recommend spending 3 days in St. Petersburg if you can. But as with everything, there are pros and cons. In general, we, being ...

My husband's brother and his wife are seasoned cruisers and suggested we join them on Voyager. We have cruised three times before but never with Regent. It was fabulous. There was a computer technical hitch which meant we had to wait quite a while before embarkation but as we had enjoyed the previous day's independent tour of Copenhagen which included a wonderful river cruise and spitefully ...

This is my second time cruising with Regent, obviously I loved the first time around having booked another vacation with them. I unfortunately have not had the same success as i did the first go around. 1.) Butler Service- I paid the extra for it and it has been an absolute waste. 4.5 hours to get 2 bottles of vodka to the room (no ice bucket with it even though I requested it) 2.) ...

We chose this cruise for the destinations and the fact that the ship remained in St. Petersburg 3 days. We also had not been to any of the destinations before so enjoyed the ease of tours each day. We were pleased with embarkation and disembarkation with one exception. We purchased transport to ship and back to airport. When we were leaving for home, we walked out of the terminal area to realize ...

This is our second cruise on Regent 7 Seas last year we took the Navigator on a 12 Day Alaska cruise with Oregon, Victoria and San Francisco at the end. We have been cruising since 1995 on various lines about once per year. After our excellent experience on the Navigator we decided to try a European itinerary on the Baltic. There were various special offers with this cruise with a 3 class ...

We choose this cruise because we could not refuse the offer made by our TA. Regent wanted or needed to fill the boat I guess. It was and still is until today our first ans only cruise. Compass Rose dinner only MDR was great, excellent food wine and service. Prime Seven, a steak house restaurant, was very good as well but could go only once... The Signature French restaurant was ...

Upgrade to Worst Cabin on Vessel; Obstructed View, Broken AC

Regent Corporate informed agent that they had upgraded us from 6th or 7th deck to 8th deck and class G to Class F. Yippee! NOT! They put us in Cabin 800 (port side) the worst on the entire ship other than 801 on the starboard side. This cabin had a huge metal windscreen which obstructed 1/3 of the balcony view. Our Sunset pictures were 2/3 beautiful and 1/3 steel hull. In addition, they ...

Deceptive Offer for this Cruise

6-10 Cruises

Age 70s

Regent offered this cruise with business class airfare included. Upon returning from the cruise we and several other couples learned that the airline oversold their business class seats. Regent's offer was not contingent on an "if available" basis. Several attempts to get Regent to give us an accommodation for this downgrade, including writing to specific executives, were dismissed with an ...

This is our second cruise on Voyager and we just loved it. We opted for the Business Class upgrade and it was well worth it. Our flight out of Newark was delayed but we were welcomed at the SAS lounge which was a real treat compared to sitting in the crowded concourse. We would recommend taking Delta as their business class seats are really comfortable and only four across versus six across on ...

Once we decided that a trip to the Baltic was on our bucket list we started searching cruise lines. Fortunately for us, our research ended with the choice of Regent Seven Seas and the beautiful Voyager. While there were a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations, for the most part it was a perfect cruise. Pre-cruise lodging, transfers and embarkation: The only complaint here is the ...
