Embarkation was fairly quick and easy from Copenhagen.
Itinerary was very nice and included excellent ports including the change to Gothenburg Sweden.
Cabin service was excellent for our aft view balcony.

Was going to Norway with a car tour on my own but did not have time to plan it , so opted for a cruise at the last minute .
All in all , a nice experience with good memories , but the organization left much to be happy about . Beautiful scenery and good photo experiences IF the weather permits , about 50% of rainy days in Norway .

We left on the Zuiderdam’s July 7, 2018 sailing for a two week cruise from Copenhagen, Denmark visiting Norway, Iceland, The Faroe Islands and the Shetland Islands. The Preziosa is not maintained well. All big windows are not clean. The cables of room vacuum cleaners are worn and repaired by insulation tape.
The hand disinfection devices very often were empty. In one of the floors the floor number peeled and they didn't repair it at least 4 days.
The buffet is big but nobody manages it. So couples occupy 4 seats tables and it is very difficult to ...

Used the ship because of the Norway itinerary, Fjords were grand. WE left from Copenhagen and visited Bergen, Geirenger, Alesune and Stavenger. We took small boat tours on two of the fjords. .

We had not sailed Holland for several years. I feel that the clientele has moved to a much older crowd. Many guests on walkers, wheelchairs etc. My biggest disappointment was the itinerary during the day. There was nothing to do. No karaoke, no dance classes, nothing to fill the time if you decided to stay on the ship. Holland may do this intentionally in order to sell excursions. However, ...

Visiting the Norwegian Fjords was always on our bucket list and this cruise fit the timeframe we wanted to go and the ports we wanted to see. Serenade of the Seas is an 18 year old ship that was the queen of the fleet when first launched but is now showing her age. We were told she is going to go through dry dock and updating in December of this year. Nothing about this Royal Caribbean Norway Fjords cruise was sub-standard or poor. I have been on many cruises, but had not been on NCL in many years before deciding to give them another try because I liked the itinerary. I wasn’t crazy about the ship, which was very smoky, and the food wasn’t very good. They also confiscate all liquids every time you get back on the ship. I won’t be coming back to NCL anytime soon.
