Never do MSC cruise again!!

This was our first time on MSC cruise we were very disappointed. Route was excellent but, customer service & room location was absolutely awful! 1.Beware to ship does not provide facial tissues in the room & no bath robe!! When we stopped by customer reception desk asked about no facial tissue in the room they looked at me like what are you asking…. After explaining when I needed they ...

20 day Northern Cruise-wonderful scenery

Our 20 day cruise went as high as illulisat Greenland with scenery or amount of Icebergs I was not expecting. The ship is old yes but extremely clean and well presented. We had cabin which was your usual balcony cabin layout. The surprise was having a kettle in the cabins to make your tea or coffee anytime. No USB ports in the cabin which is almost unforgiving these days. Food was extensive in ...

Worst Cruise Ever on MSC to Greenland and Iceland

Review for a Arctic Cruise on MSC Poesia

This was our first cruise/holiday in the post covid world. The experience with MSC was so bad and disappointing in every way that it has put us off ever doing another cruise with any cruise line. It seem that MSC’s bean counters have worked out how to strip as much expense out of their cruises - from the ports, food, entertainment and facilities offered on board. I have given the following ...

Fantastic first cruise experience, shame about the food and transfers

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

Being first time cruisers (this being a "trial run" before doing a TA with Cunard), we had read up on reviews and info re MSC and the Poesia somewhat beforehand. The Western Mediterranean intinerary suited us well, as we had never before been to Portugal. Having 11 days in port out of a total 14 was a very exciting prospect, too. On paper, at least. More about this later. The ...

About the Reviewer: I’m a middle-aged American male who traveled solo on this, my 52nd voyage. I have sailed primarily on NCL with over 25 voyages there and a handful of cruises with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Carnival. This was my fourth MSC cruise and my second week on the Poesia. You can find my previous review for the Norwegian fjords in this same section of member reviews for the ship. My ...

Relaxed old school Baltic cruise

Overall, we had a great vacation. My opinion is that the MSC Poesia is a “relaxed old school” type of cruise. We chose this cruise and itinerary because we had booked plane tickets to Copenhagen. We enjoyed the cruise after a week road trip in Denmark. We enjoyed the ports and itinerary, which was a 7-day Baltic cruise including Copenhagen, Warnemunde, Helsinki, Talinn, and Stockholm. We have ...

Fabulous Cruise Amongst the Icebergs!

We were a group of eight from Australia on a family trip to Greenland and we can recommend all facets of this cruise ship and ports visited. We had a great boarding experience in Copenhagen, greeted by a most helpful lady that had us onboard in no time with no fuss. This ship had one of the best crews that we have encountered on any cruise, they were all friendly and efficient. The Captain was ...

Expensive Wifi sucks

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Poesia

I went on the Northern-cruise with my mom & all over i think it was a great experience & holiday. Nice crew, very interesting places we visited & the food was definetly okay. The only comment i have, that's regarding the wifi. It is very expensive and it works poorly. We've paid +/- 300 euro for 8 days for multiple devices, but the wifi went off most of the time. Without my knowledge my ...

We chose this cruise strictly based on the number of new countries it stopped at (I was aiming for my 100th country) and the time of year (around my birthday in May). We really enjoyed it. Of particular note was the service on the ship. We had excellent service from the following individuals: -Punia, the water at the Mojito Bar - star of the show! Helped us every morning and afternoon, chatted ...
