We chose the MSC Poesia as the Itinerary and price influenced us. Copenhagen to Genoa in September 2019. Aurea Balcony Suite, inclusive Drinks Package,(the old one as we booked before the new drinks package took over) We arrived at Copenhagen Terminal at 10.30am, they said we could board at 11.30am and a large Group of tourists decided to rush first, not lining up correctly, it was very ...

Our cruise began in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the pre boarding process my wife and I were asked where we were from by one of the MSC cruise line staff holding a clip board. We responded, "we are from Texas, USA", the MSC employee then rolled her eyes, and replied "oh no, we already have too many Americans". It was an awkward moment, as we thought she was only kidding, and we were waiting for ...

Have done one previous Cruise on Carnival in the Caribbean. My review is thus going to be comparison to that one. Things I liked more about this cruise. They do less announcements as Carnival would be woken up with announcements about going to shore and things going on that day. This one kept announcements to minimum though did take awhile due to being in 5 languages. This could be ...

Embarked in Warnemunde, embarkation was fine. Went to the rooms, was room 10241,aft balcony. Large balcony however the engines shook so much, I couldn’t sleep half of the 10 nights. Then, the food. Half of it was inedible, the other half was disgusting. I ate salad and salad the whole cruise. There was lack of diversity in food. No prepared sandwich, no omelet station, the burgers were stale, all ...

As for the rest of the MSC fleet, MSC Poesia is a beautiful and generally well-maintained ship. However, several minor and major flaws on our Baltic cruise made us consider another cruise line for our next tour. Here are a few examples: MSC usually holds a very high cleaning standard, so we were surprised to see the high number of undefinable particles floating around in the lower layers of the ...

Really enjoyed our second cruise & debut with MSC. The Poesia is a well maintained, modern ship & there were zero problems embarking in Copenhagen. Our taxi from the airport was aware that the port has moved further out & we felt sorry for those making their way on foot as it was a warm day plus it's a long walk. We got there just after noon & though we were told our cabin would not be ready until ...

My wife & I travelled with MSC on Musica in 2006 shortley after her launch so I was interested to see if there had been any changes We Boarded in Copenhagen, no problems quick easy and efficent, ship is truly BEAUTIFUL and in perfect condition. Our inside cabin was very comfortable, plenty of space and great bathroom. The main lounge / dining of Poesia are spectacular, in particular the wine ...

Having read reviews on the MSC Poesia we were prepared for a beautiful ship with substandard service but our cruise to Stockholm, Tallin, Sankt Petersburg and Kiel by far exceeded our expectations. It is true that food is not available 24/7, that water is not free of charge for dinner, that coffee and tea is not an option for dinner either and that the layout of the buffet needs rethinking but ...

This was the worst cruise we ever experienced,4 persons.Same menu daily, quality very poor with cafeteria buffet serving hot dogs, burgers, frozen french fries for dinner. The ship has a lot of smoking, disregarding the right of nonsmokers.Reception desk is incompetent and unaccomodating.Overall the cruise ship did not care much about the welfare of passengers.  Entertainment  was very poor with shows ...
