This was my second cruise with Costa. First one was with Smeralda . Check-in and access of the cabin worked well. Deck 2 insides. The journey from Copenhagen Danmark to Tarragona Spain went perfectly. The cabin was okey, interior grey but the bed was really good. The food is varied, the breakfast and lunch buffet is tasteless ,hot food is cold when you have found somewhere to sit. Restaurant ...

I have cruised HA 15 times. Love the line. We took this cruise and extended another 14 days to travel to Egypt, Turkey, Greece etc. so we were on the ship a total of 25 days. HA has always attracted an older crowd and the ship is usually fairly full. We noticed the following during our 25 days: (1) Poor officer interaction with passengers (2) poorly trained Lido floor wait staff (3) lack of ...

This was our 3rd time on MSC, in a Yacht Club standard cabin with balcony. We were expecting the same good feeling after our cruise but felt let down by the constant lack of organization of the whole cruise. The problem is that the staff had not been trained to do their job, giving out bad information, and not admitting that problems had occurred. There is also an issue with the lack of ...

Where do I begin? We booked nearly last minute and was told there was a possibility for an upgrade. We paid for an outside cabin and got one with a completely obstructed view, as a life boat was directly put the window. We asked if we could pay for an upgrade to a balcony and were told to keep coming back the next day. After 3 days we gave up. However, they did upgrade 2 from winning Bingo! ...

Repositioning Cruise

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Star

We chose this cruise because of the ports that it was visiting during it's repositioning. Dining room & buffet food was average though they charge extra for steak and lobster. Other cruises we have been on usually offer them at least once during your cruise at no extra cost. Specialty restaurants were good but some items on the menu were the same thing that you could get in the buffet or dining ...

I have been on 30+ cruises on numerous different lines from age 12 through to this week. We just debarked at Barcelona. This was my first time with Viking. I am platinum with Cunard and have also been on Carnival, NCL, Holland America, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and, as a child back in the 70's on Chandris- the old MS Victoria! Our trip was to have been 15 days from Bergen, Norway to Barcelona, ...
