Overall good experience for our first cruise

First Time Cruiser

We chose this cruise as it was leaving at the time we wanted and was going to some interesting destinations. As it was our first cruise we weren't sure what to expect. Overall we enjoyed ourselves....we found the food good to very good, staff very friendly, accommodation more than adequate and very much enjoyed our balcony view. We were lucky that we had great weather and calm seas. The ...

Booked through RCI. This was a first time cruise and did no know what to expect. However it was a very good experience and will undertake another cruise in the future. Staff were well presented and polite and friendly. The ship was very clean as was the cabin, Sheldon (Steward) from St Lucia was very good. The dining facilities in the Aqua and Versaille were very good, the waiters and ...

Review for Regal Princess to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

2-5 Cruises

Age 50s

The Regal is a large Ship but does not feel crowded. The Service, Food and Shows performed by the Cruise Dancers and Singers were all exceptional. A Top tip is to get your own Visa for St Petersburg and stay the night in a Hotel as it works out about the same as a Tour but you have the freedom of the City for 2 whole days. For those planning to download films prior to going an excellent service ...

If you are a North American cruiser, STAY AWAY

Review for MSC Musica to Mediterranean

6-10 Cruises

Age 70s

This cruise was fairly well advertised in North America, in hopes I think of getting a slice of the North American market. It failed miserably. The food was terrible. There was very little beef or shellfish available and what there was, was poorly done. The food was cold in the buffet area and barely warm in the restaurant. There is also a huge language barrier here and although announcements ...

2-5 Cruises

Age 40s

For the first time we took Costa Cruice in summer 2008 in Mediterranean Tour from Barcelona. We were so please with experience with Costa that we decided to take Costa cruise again to Norwegian Fjords from Copenhagen for one week 9th June. What a disappointment and waste and money! We had a suite that we paid for the family with two children 4700e/week. What happened to Costa Cruise between ...

10+ Cruises

Cruise: Very good itinerary - repositioning from Copenhagen to Venice with stops in Amsterdam, Brugge, Le Havre (Normandy), Malaga, Cartagena, Malta, Split. Staff: We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The only exception was trying to get info on doing things on your own and the overall lack of knowledge of Cartagena. Food: Food was excellent, but lobster is no longer served ...

Copenhagen to Venice - A Wonderful Cruise

10+ Cruises

Age 70s

Overall, we were very satisfied with the cruise. The itinerary was wonderful with great places to see. The staff on the Vision were terrific, food was great, and many activities were available. The ship is older and so the cabins (even though very well maintained by the staff) had old TV's, limited stations, and few amenities (e.g., no refrigerator). We had an oceanview with a full picture window. ...

This was a repositioning cruise from the summer northern routes to the fall Mediterranean routes. There were four of us on this cruise (2 cabins), we are all Canadians in our mid to late thirties and have all cruised before. This was our second cruise on the Mediterranea having cruised on it in 2006 in the Eastern Mediterranean. You should also know that we are pretty laid back and not ...

Review for Eurodam to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The Eurodam Maiden Voyage This was my third cruise, I have been on Princess and Royal Caribbean prior to this summer and was looking forward to being on what I heard was an "elite first class ship." Well folks, don't believe it! The rooms are cramped and small just like most ships. I was told that I would have a window or balcony cabin and ended up with a small inside 110 square foot room that ...
