Everything was first class, service was impeccable; we upgraded to a spa room and it was definitely worth it, after walking all day in St. Petersburg, Berlin, Talinn and Stpckholm we really needed to relax in the spa. Went on the Getaway to cruise in Northern Europe through the Baltic Sea. This was my wife's first cruise and my first with NCL (I had been on two HAL cruises as a kid). I went into the cruise feeling pretty apprehensive based on the dozens of horribly negative reviews I had read about this ship. This was my 4th total cruise, 2nd on Norwegian. I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I loved every minute of this trip!

We chose this cruise because of its itinerary and the ship. We have sailed on it before and new the quality. We participated in onboard activities, like the not so newlywed game and found out we suck at it! Overall though loads of fun. Hubby ran into his college roommate sailing with his wife. We wanted to see the Baltics and this cruise was just right! The ship was amazing and I rarely felt like there were 4600 guests aboard. The only time it felt crowded was in the buffet for breakfast, sometimes it is difficult to get a seat. The food was great and they were very accommodating for my wife's egg allergy. There were 13 of us on this cruise ages 85 to 6. Everything from embarkation to disembarkation went smoothly.

Excellent experience. Ship was fully staffed. Never had to wait for a drink at the bars. Public areas kept tidy and clean. Made reservations in advance for the shows and select dining.
