We've loved all that Norweigan has to offer; food, entertainment, consistency in a great travel experience. The staff is more than welcoming and they are very organized.
Some minor tips for a better experience:
The Getaway should not be used in cold areas. Without a big lounge at one end of the ship, the open areas are way too crowded without the pool being an option.

Our first cruise with NCL and we were not disappointed. We are used to Royal Caribbean but chose this ship for itinery and it fitted our schedule. We travelled as a family with 2 teens and 2 friends. We chose Princess because we had friends who suggested them. Princess exceeded our expectations. No problems with embarkation or disembarkation. We sailed on the Regal Princess for the Baltic Cruise. We love the Regal. Even though the ship has a lot of passengers, it never felt crowded. We had a mini suite on the Lido deck, as we like the little rocking at night, but atlas the seas were so smooth, there was no rocking.
The Regal uses the Medallion. Embarkation took under 5 minutes and your cabin door opens as you move towards it. ...

I had a fabulous time on this cruise for so many reasons--the itinerary was great, the ship itself was very nice, the dining and entertainment were wonderful. I chose it because I wanted something that will include St. Petersburg with it and the Baltics. I thought since the ship was carrying 4500 passengers and 2500 crew members that it will be like lining up for a blockbuster movie. Anyway, most days it was organized, the only times it was in disarray was the embarkation and disembarkation day which happens on all cruise ships.
