NCL needs to value customers

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

Worst cruise ever. While NCL can't control the weather, they do control their schedule. We missed 3 of 5 ports, and stayed docked extra days, and extra sea days.NCL apparently sails in the Baltic later into the year than other lines. This is a big mistake . Customers expect NCL to understand the weather where they are sailing, and not offer cruises to places that will not materialize. This is a ...

Cancelled 3 out of 5 Cruise Port - Baltic Cruise

As much as we enjoyed the Breakaway we decided to write to tell you we didn't get what we thought we were getting and we were quite disturbed by it. We chose this cruise because the Baltic itinerary was at the top of our wish list. It started in Copenhagen with stops near Berlin and in Tallinn, Estonia, on the way to spending two days and a night in St. Petersburg, Russia. On the way back to ...

Poor communication and failure to address problems appropriately

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, and we had heard Norwegian was making an effort to become a better cruise line. The physical amenities of the ship were fine. In fact, our room was quite comfortable, our balcony large, the shower one of the best on a cruise ship. Our cabin steward was helpful. The food was acceptable for a large ship, however, it was a bit misleading to describe ...

ncl should not offer this cruise at this time of year. Cabins are so smalls. activities on ship poor, sexual innuendos by staff when in atrium, theater, on tv. Missed 3 ports of call. No credits given When stranded in port did not offer any additional activities or entertainment without charging for everything. Cabin smelled like dried blood all week. Leaving ship wasted time ...

Royal Caribbean WORST WORST WORST

We like very much cruise trips and before we enjoyed cruise trips many times. However RoyalCaribean exsperience was our first experience and definitely the LAST. We have chosen this company because our dates fit and also there is an agent in Istanbul which helped us the booking. We never thought this is such a lousy company. First of all, the food is terrible. The quality of the food was worst ...

Be warned: The Breakaway and NCL sure to disappoint

Stay away. Our room smelled like body odor all nine days. The Breakaway is dull and brown with uninspired shared spaced, often filled with cigarette smoke that comes right into your cabin. A guest services clerk was so rude I emailed NCL directly about her. NCL lures you in with places like Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, but we never could go. It was open 3 hours a day, closed in port - another ...

Chose the cruise on the recommendation of a travel agent (who I usually trust). Wanted to see the fjiords. The fjiords were a delight. However, once I entered the ship there is an onslought of people trying to sell you photos and all sorts of rubbish. This is uncalled for given that the cruise. We is paid for upfront. In addition, its a very tacky operation and you can hardly move with ...

NCL Breakaway Baltic 9 Day Cruise

Norwegian Breakaway 9-day Baltic Cruise June 16 – June 25, 2018. Issues: Port of Rostock Ship docked in cargo port in Rostock Germany, not the tourist port. Shuttles (fee paid by guests) were needed to get to Rostock for a promised several hours of shopping. All businesses in Rostock were closed for Sunday. Very poor planning by NCL. Excursions were sold by NCl for Berlin trip (over ...

NCL Breakaway Baltic Cruise Rip-off

Looked to learn Baltic, North European and Scandinavia culture and cuisine. We are returning customers who are deeply and sadly disappointed in NCL's new attitude. This was the worst and we would never cruise with them again. The ship was overcrowded with tired and helpless personnel. Demographics: dominated by Chinese, Indian and South-East Asia guests as well as football fans. Super ...

We chose this cruise as our friends wanted to visit Germany. Well we got there and as it was a Sunday, no shops were opened. We were not told about this before getting off the ship and getting into a bus. It was infuriating. We were due to go to Finland, which I was so waiting to see and the captain decided that due to some "rough" weather he sailed straight through. We have since found out ...
