2 out of 5 is bad

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

First cruise and came back fat and bored. There must be no greater hell on earth than to be offered all the food and drink imaginable but be sick of the sight of it. There was nothing to do but eat and drink. You couldn't kick back and relax ; there were too many people and even though the majority were lovely and friendly we were all in the same boat (forgive the pun) all wanted desperately ...

The worst experience I ever had. They canceled three countries of 5 included in the itinerary, bad service, when we were anchored for 3 days in Denmark waiting for the bad weather to stop, we did not have good entertainment, I was bored, couldn't have my diet without salt as I asked at the reservation moment because they were not prepared for it, the Rock shows were terrible as well, too much ...

So bad we hopped off

So bad we got off half way. We are family with twin girls and chose to cruise through parts of Europe to see as much as possible without having to continually pack/unpack. Do not be fooled by NCL “freestyle” write up, it’s a joke. There is very limited dining pretty much one giant Buffett which is impossible to get a seat. We were even happy to pay extra and use restaurants onboard except ...

NCL Baltic Cruise--Denmark

I departed from Copenhagen, Denmark, on 9/21/2018 for my FIRST ever cruise. The itinerary included stops in Estonia, Finland, Germany, Russia and Sweden. Since I am a planner, I booked the trip over a year in advance due to the positive feedback I received from co-workers who had done the exact same cruise in the past. Throughout the course of the year, two ports changed from one city to others, ...

just returned from a 9 night cruise in the Baltics. it was supposed to be a trip of a life time visiting 5 ports including Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn and Rostock(Warnemunde) Our captain told us due to bad weather we will not be visiting 3 out of the 5 ports. strangely enough we could travel to St Petersburg for the scheduled 2 day stop. might this be due to the money being made ...

Booked this cruise two years ago for the itinerary, my party of eight traveled from Canada and USA for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see some parts of the world we only dreamed of visiting. We all arrived a couple of days ahead in Copenhagen and enjoyed the city pre-cruise. Boarding day I met a crew member in the check in terminal and during conversation he mentioned that they had ...

Definitely NOT the vacation of a lifetime

I chose this cruise because I have always wanted to see the Baltic region. I had read the reviews of Norwegian Cruiseline which weren’t great but it was our only choice for the dates we were available.. we decided to have a good sense of humor and consider our cruise as just transportation between the places we wanted to go. Our trip began in Copenhagen where we learned that we would be skipping ...

A disappointing experience

the cruise was chosen for the destinations it was promising, however we only visited 2 of the 5 ports on the itinerary which is very dissapointing considering the distance we had travelled to meet the ship. The Weather was used an excuse. Maybe NCL should not be cruising this region so late into the season. The ship has poor layout with limted public spaces, the theatre is inadequate, the ...

9 day cruise from Copenhagen, daparting on Sun w/ scheduled stops in Germany, day at sea, Estonia, overnight in St Petersburg, Finland, Sweden, day at sea and return to Copenhagen Tuesday. Unscheduled skip of Warnemunde, Germany so over nighted in Copenhagen with a 1:30 departure the next day ( so no time to go and see Copenhagen), day at sea Tuesday. This cruise should not have been scheduled in the first place. This was the only cruise ship that sailed in this time of the year unlike other cruise ship who were wised enough not to schedule due to unpredictable weather condition thus resulting to missing 3 ports. THREE!!!!!!!!!!!! NCL should know better! And NCL should have Plan B in place if incidents like these happens. Instead it was ...
