Our cruise began in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the pre boarding process my wife and I were asked where we were from by one of the MSC cruise line staff holding a clip board. We have elite status on Princess and had been on the Regal twice before and this third time was a big disappointment. Customer service prior to leaving is attrocious. Promised phone calls from customer service never returned, not once but 3 times. Once they have your money the pre cruise staff don't really care.
However once on board cruise services did everything they could to sort out our issues and did this successfully.

My family was excited for months to cruise. The suite we had was very nice and clean along with a beautiful balcony. Everything from that point on went down hill. There were so many people on the ship you felt like sardines. To be clear, we chose Norwegian because of the port stops and because the timing of this cruise allowed us to take it with another family. Overall, we had a great time with our friends, liked the port stops (except Russia), but the Norwegian part of the experience was disappointing.
