Regal Princess; Southampton to Southampton Aug 2023. The ship is ok!  I do think it has a confusing layout, you are only able to go to some floors in some lifts, so you have to get off one lift to walk down corridors, past dozens of rooms, to get to the next lift to catch that one to get to the lower  floors, which you need to do for getting off the ship and to go to the bars/ ...

Chose this cruise for overview of British Isles. Port call at Le Havre France was a plus as it allowed for excursions to Normandy Beaches or Giverny to see Monet's Garden. Crew was superb. Our 20 day cruise went as high as illulisat Greenland with scenery or amount of Icebergs I was not expecting. The ship is old yes but extremely clean and well presented. We had cabin which was your usual balcony cabin layout. The surprise was having a kettle in the cabins to make your tea or coffee anytime. Our ninth cruise with Princess and Regal met most of our expectations, some exceeded but one very disappointing concerns. We booked a balcony cabin and chose Caribe, stateroom was upto the normal standard and more than met our needs. We chose this cruise for the itinerary and to travel with Princess again after 7 years trying other lines. Our suite experience certainly made this trip excellent because we were treated royally. We think they have way too many high prices restaurants which could have been more open spaces for all to relieve cramping.
