Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Island Princess

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and to travel with Princess again after 7 years trying other lines. Our suite experience certainly made this trip excellent because we were treated royally. Kudos to staff in Sabatinis, select area of main dining room and room steward. Food was very good and we had no complaints. Buffet was often busy but perfect for a quick lunch or cup of tea. Coffee was ...

I don’t understand the negative reviews. We are a couple in our 60s, very active and we chose the ship for the ports of call on the coast of Norway and the fact that it was a relatively new ship, in service for about a year. The staff was well trained, always greeting everyone with a smile and they seemed to know us early on, knowing our drink selections and eager to please. Our room steward was ...

Bad advice from my travel agent...

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Silver Dawn

I didn't want to be on a cruise due to food restrictions.. But, my travel agent assured me that it wouldn't be a problem... and it has been my main problem on the ship... BUT, after 3 days of cruising the ship was finally able to accommodate me... The ship TRULY needs a food allergy menu that lists ALL of the ingredients that are used.. When at home I can make and cook any meal I want ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

Ah, the MSC Euribia, what a "moneygrabtastic" experience it was! I had the pleasure of embarking on a journey to the breathtaking fjords, but boy was the ship a disappointment. It felt like they crammed the entire population of a small country on board, making everything as crowded as a Black Friday sale. And let's talk about the prices, shall we? Everything had a price tag steeper than Mount ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

For some reason the itinerary listed here is not the one we had. Our was a 10 day British Isles cruise. We chose this cruise because of its itinerary. Though we are traveling often and were 13 times in London we have never been in any other UK place except for London. This cruise was supposed to give us ability to do so. And we had previously sailed twice on NCL and had decent experience both ...

Missed 37.5% of ports

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

Scotland, Ireland, England cruise Common spaces very crowded, yet the high prices restaurants were vacant. We think they have way too many high prices restaurants which could have been more open spaces for all to relieve cramping. Missed 3 of 8 ports due to Norwegian choosing to do tenders (5 tender ports - which they did not advertise). The port stops were cancelled due to high winds. ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and because we use to love NCL… not anymore. We were not communicating with at all. There Was only supposed to be 1 tender port and there were 5. We were not told this until boarding the ship. We missed 3 out of those 5 ports due to “bad weather”. We were told at the last minute as the boat turned away from places we had dreamed about going. But ...

Buyer Beware

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. For our style of travel (we have been on 16 cruises and also land based vacations) the best thing about cruising is the convenience of seeing a variety of places without having to unpack, pack, and move suitcases between each one. We avoid cruises with lots of sea days. We also avoid cruises with lots of tender stops due to the difficulty in meeting ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

I chose this cruise due to the ports we were supposed to visit and was only supposed to be at sea for 1 day! We found out that we were going to have to tender to 5 ports on this trip when we got to our rooms. Rumor has it that Norwegian doesn’t pay their port fees and that is why we needed to tender so many times. The first port we missed due to tender problems was Stornoway. The next port ...
