I chose this cruise as experience with a group of friends. It was close for all of us and the itineray was a plus for the group. Embarkation was easy and as good as any i have done. It was quick and efficient from parking to getting on board the Sunshine After boarding we dropped our bags in our rooms and went to the Lido for lunch. First mistake of the cruise. Went to the Deli for the first ...

We wanted a pre holiday getaway to some warm islands. We got that, Aruba, Grand Turk, Bonaire and Princes Cay. All were great. Warm water, easy access, enjoyable snorkeling and day trips. What was bad, was the ship experience. First, the food. The main dining experience is entirely via the Carnival Hub app. If you're looking for printed menus and any semblance of fine dining and excellence, ...

We decided on this cruise because it was a location we could drive to from Canada with interesting stops along the way. We weren’t concerned about where it went, we just wanted to relax. It appealed to us as it had many cruising days where you can just sail, nap and relax. This one was Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk and Princess Cays. We like to explore past what we cal the frosting and walk the ...

I choose this cruise cause its the only one leaving from Charleston. Took my girlfriends parents who are 89 each. The ship does not have enough room. Serenity deck has to to something about chair saving. Never could find a chair when at sea. pool areas was about the same, had to sit high up on the decks. Food was OK at best. breakfast was good except the eggs looked like little BB"s.. never saw ...

We chose this cruise because it was going out of Charleston, and we would not have to drive a long distance. It's an old, small terminal. The process getting on and off went fast. We visited 3 ports. On 2 of those days, it rained. There were not enough activities planned for the guests. I felt the ship had too many Trivia games, and not enough other things to do. We enjoy Line Dancing and ...

This was our 5th Carnival cruise in the past 6 years and our first from the Port of Charleston. Parking in Charleston was very troubling - mostly from a process perspective. Long lines to check our boarding passes twice before we finally paid for the parking (third stop), checked our luggage (fourth stop) and parked the car. The luggage check (fourth stop) was very good. Retrieving our ...

Its hard to have a bad time while on a cruise. That said I had a good time, but of my 12 cruises this was my least favorite cruise and ship. The ship, to me appeared to be run down and not nearly as clean as other ships I have been on. Perhaps it looked unclean to me may have been the choice of decor, as most of it was very lite and showed dirt and stains very easily. It just reminded me of ...

Embarkation is always easy from Charleston. I did hear of some nightmares but if you gt there around 10:30 or 11 you will be fine. Going through customs only took us 15 minutes. We only had to walk straight from the xray to the counter to get our sign & sail card. Disembarkation was a little bit crazier but having the zones made it better & they stayed pretty much right on time. Charleston is only ...
