This was not my 1st cruise with Carnival, but it may be my last. I know this ship isn't the newest, but I stayed on older and smaller ones in the past that put this to shame!
The Food- It was terrible, from the scramble egg soup in the morning all the way to the tougher than leather "Prime Rib" at dinner. It was bad. The buffet was the same food they served at dinner. Just somehow worse. I ...
We left out of Charleston to the Bahamas and both ports seemed to keep the line moving pretty quick. We took our Autistic 12 yr old, and he had a blast on the water slides and at the circle c club. The food was great and we ate ourselves silly. I thought everything was very clean and the staff always smiling and courteous. The shows and comedy club were amazing and we had a blast. The drinks were ...
Traveling on this cruise was myself, my husband and our 9 year old daughter. We booked this as a fall break cruise. Since it was fall break, the ship was sold out and there were a lot of kids onboard. But it seemed that everyone was well behaved. We had two issues of kids running down the hall outside our cabin late at night. But it wasn't any prolonged or excessive. Here's a quick breakdown of ...
Team lead server Udaya was great! So was team server Maxvel & Asst. Team Server Putu & Ari my cleaner for my room & service! Overall I had a great cruise & the service was great. Went with family and this was my first cruise. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the feeling of being pampered and did not even have to clean up after ourselves, even though I did so. Dining was exceptional and the crew was out of this world, they really rocked their jobs.
We took a couple of excursions, not enough time in Nassau to do what we wanted, Blue Lagoon was okay. The ...
We sailed on the Carnival Sunshine out of Charleston, SC on a 5-day cruise that started on 04/24/23.
This was our 11th Carnival Cruise and 31st cruise overall (19 with NCL and 1 with RCCL). We have Platinum status with Carnival.
We had flown into Charleston the day before and had reservations at the Embassy Suites in the historic district on Meeting Street. It is located inside the former ...
Chose this cruise as we could drive to Charleston instead of having to take a cruise out of Florida where we would have to fly to. Every meal we had either buffet, restaurant, steak house was all fantastic. All the staff worked hard and were very pleasant. There were long lines at the pool bars but staff were working hard to get us our drinks. Guy's hamburgers were a big hit with my grandson ...
We just returned from a cruise on the Carnival Sunshine out of Charleston. We had 14 in our group and we had a blast. We were on the Lido deck with a balcony. Nice clean room and our Stateroom attendant was Elna. She was so caring, kind, and attentive. Anything we needed she was able to provide. We ate Breakfast and Dinner in the Sunrise. The servers were excellent. We had Putra as our main server ...
This was the top choice for relaxing, informative and easy life traveling. The food was the best ever and the atmosphere was exceptional. The crew was forever cleaning. Spotless!! This ship was the most helpful to everyone including the handicapped passengers. We loved the tour experiences. There was so much to learn about our country. All in all, our experience was an A+++ for ...
This was our fourth cruise on American Cruise Lines. We've also sailed on Cunard, Viking, Celebrity, and Princess. The quality on ACL beats all the others in every way. The service is more personalized and caring, the food is better, and the ships are more comfortable. We were on Viking in France in May and although nice, Viking is clearly a notch lower. One great feature on ACL is the ...
