Did a back to back cruise and it was
Just ok, cruise was nothing special.
Ship was just ok

Charleston was the nearest port so Carnival Sunshine was the only choice. I was on the 11th deck, Stateroom 11032. This cabin was fully exposed to outside temperature on 2 sides and partially on the third. This is was our second time aboard the Sunshine and honestly our first trip wasn’t that great. We sailed on the Sunshine when it was in Florida (Orlando maybe?) and was hesitant to sail on it again but simply selected this cruise because of its convenience out of Charleston. We had sailed out of Charleston before aboard the Ecstasy and had a much more enjoyable trip.

We chose the port of Charleston because we did not want to fly to Florida, the cost of the flight for 2 adults and 2 children would have been almost as much as the price of the cruise.
So we drove 8 hours to the port. Easy approach to the port, fast parking, great service at the port of Charleston.

CONS:
* Raised daily parking to $20 a day
* Ship feels way over capacity with the additional cabins. It's a constant battle everyday trying to find a chair outside anywhere. No exaggeration its rediculous.
* Food in the dining room seemed like the worst choices in any of my 8 cruises thus far. For the first time ever only ate there on formal night.
