We chose this cruise for the proximity of the port to our home. The ship is small, very small but accommodations are adequate. Embarkation is always easy from Charleston. I did hear of some nightmares but if you gt there around 10:30 or 11 you will be fine. Going through customs only took us 15 minutes. We only had to walk straight from the xray to the counter to get our sign & sail card.
