I chose this cruise as experience with a group of friends. It was close for all of us and the itineray was a plus for the group. Embarkation was easy and as good as any i have done. It was quick and efficient from parking to getting on board the Sunshine After boarding we dropped our bags in our rooms and went to the Lido for lunch. First mistake of the cruise. Went to the Deli for the first ...

We wanted a pre holiday getaway to some warm islands. We got that, Aruba, Grand Turk, Bonaire and Princes Cay. All were great. Warm water, easy access, enjoyable snorkeling and day trips. What was bad, was the ship experience. First, the food. The main dining experience is entirely via the Carnival Hub app. If you're looking for printed menus and any semblance of fine dining and excellence, ...

We decided on this cruise because it was a location we could drive to from Canada with interesting stops along the way. We weren’t concerned about where it went, we just wanted to relax. It appealed to us as it had many cruising days where you can just sail, nap and relax. This one was Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk and Princess Cays. We like to explore past what we cal the frosting and walk the ...

The ship was built in 1991. This wouldn't be relevant except for the fact that the whole ship stinks. In every area during any time of the day or night there would be a sewer smell. In our cabin, off and on there would be the smell of a skunk smoking a cigarette. No kidding. Distinct skunk smell pumped in through the air conditioning vent. We were on the 11th floor and still had the sewer smell ...

We chose this cruise for the proximity of the port to our home. The ship is small, very small but accommodations are adequate. The main complaint is the smoking area of the ship is mid ship near most if not all the entertainment and activities. Since our cruise consisted of more sea days than port days, this area was intolerable and you most always had to walk through it to get where you were ...

I had an 86th birthday during this cruise I took solo. Although I met many other people, older folks have more difficulty enjoying the entertainment currently offered and finding companionship. For my birthday, Guest Services recognized it with Champagne, box of candy, a note, spa gift, and waiters singing at my dinner table. I took the 8 day cruise to the Caribbean on 9/8 so there would not ...

We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Charleston, which was convenient for us. Had it been my first cruise, it would have been my last! Food was mediocre.....some meals were fantastic, other food items were horrible....most were so so Service was friendly, but slow. Bars were staffed with one bartender....rarely two. The cabin was small....and even smaller with the kids beds in ...

So the ship is old and you could tell very easily. We tried the dining room three times but my husband had issues each time. We paid extra ($20) just for a steak, plain. It came with some red wine sauce on it, twice. Even though we specifically asked for no sauce. Very disappointing. The included lemonade made me "pucker" each time I tried it, it was so sour. The included iced tea did not ...

Had the misfortune of sailing from Charleston, SC to the Bahamas in a cold snap. There was no heat on the ship, not even in the staterooms. Had to sleep under 2 comforters and in 2 robes with towels wrapped around my legs the first 2 nights. Also had to wear a fleece jacket in the Dining room every night. The cigarette smoke from the casino made walking on the port side of the 9th floor ...

I choose this cruise cause its the only one leaving from Charleston. Took my girlfriends parents who are 89 each. The ship does not have enough room. Serenity deck has to to something about chair saving. Never could find a chair when at sea. pool areas was about the same, had to sit high up on the decks. Food was OK at best. breakfast was good except the eggs looked like little BB"s.. never saw ...
