Not a quality cruise line

I realized the ship when booking was older but had been under renovation. However the food was very limited and the same every night on the breakfast and dinner buffet with limited hours. If you are looking for a happy hr pool side snack Buffett or late night it does not exist. Our room had wet carpet that I talked to them about 6 times but nothing ever was fixed or followed up on. The TVs and ...

Glorified Ferry. Not a luxury cruise

This cruise seemed a good price and went to places we wanted to visit. I went with my very active/mobile mum and we were looking forward to a gala evening, the evening entertainment and the fine dining options. We purchased a premium drinks package and a room on level 4 which looked lovely on the photos. This was the ships maiden voyage after a €20M refit Our disappointment started ...

The housekeeping crew and all around staff were wonderful. But that’s all

For starters Piraeus was not the port this ship docked on, it was Lavriom. An hour or so away from the Acropolis. I had to pay $150.00 for my husband and myself for a taxi to take us to the Acropolis. It just does not make any sense. The other 16 passengers in our 18 passenger group were not able to go. They just went around the port town which is not the purpose to visiting Athens. All of us very ...

This discount cruise line is only worth it if you truly can't afford anything else

All of the shore excursions that I booked/paid directly with the cruise line were cancelled at the last minute. I have been waiting 4 months (so far) for the refunds. I have submitted 5 requests for information and each one is replied to with the most ignorant nonsense - such as that the refund has been processed to the "agency" and I need to follow up with them however, I did not book with an ...

Very Unhappy

This ship is a refurbished Royal Caribbean ship that is in need of more refurbishment. My trip felt like more of a ferry ride, with passengers embarking and disembarking at many of the ports. There were very few Americans on board. While the cabin attendants were excellent, the rest of the service was definitely lacking. It was difficult to have our bread and water refilled in the dining room, ...

Worst ship we have been on

It is a terrible ship, old and tired. Tiny cabins single beds at right angles to each other, even for couples . Hardly any storage, we had our clothes on the window ledge. The Food is awful and monotonous. Same breakfast every day, congealed eggs, over cooked bacon etc. Coffee foul. Buffets breakfast and lunch only occasionally a waiter served lunch. Dinner you had to queue for and no ...

Worst cruise experience ever!

I was really looking forward for this vacation, but it became terrible after booking this cruise. The ship was small, old and there was really nothing to do onboard. They didn’t even have the pools available to swim. I have been in different cruises before and I figured it was alright since the port destinations would make up for it. I was wrong, the excursions available were very unorganized. ...

Overpriced and under-delivered.

Coming from Australia, we are used to being savvy about cruising – our country is a dumping ground for older ships with poor facilities (looking at you, Princess and P&O) or decent ships that have their prices massively pumped up the moment they hit our shores for the season (looking at you, Royal Caribbean/Celebrity). Our family of four (parents, 19yo son and 17yo daughter) are experienced ...

Awful, failed at basic standards of service!

We boarded on Friday June 22nd. We entered our room (2039) and realized the floor was wet and there was an odor of mold. We called the front desk and they sent someone with a blower to dry it. I then realized the lower bed was wet. Not sure if this was related to the problem on the floor or if someone sat on it with a wet bathing suit and the housekeepers never bothered to put fresh sheets on ...
