We just returned from the 10 day packaged Celebrity Expedition trip. We are happy we did the package. We had booked our trip almost a year and a half ago and didn't get much attention from Celebrity and felt forgotton until the baggage tags arrived in the mail with instructions. We boarded the plane with fingers crossed there would be a Celebrity employee at the Quito airport upon our arrival ...

This experience really exceeded my expectations. As a travel consultant I have traveled a lot. But this was the best nature cruise/vacation that I have ever experienced. From the moment we exited Immigration we were wrapped in the arms of Celebrity. We chose to arrive in Quito on the early flight to avoid the midnight arrival. Arriving at 2:15p was great as it gave us some time to see the ...

My husband and I did the 10 day package with Celebrity on Xpedition in cabin XS501. This was definitely a different type cruise than we are used (we like lazy beach time) but we knew that going in and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this trip. Lots of reviews on the ship tours etc so I will concentrate on the things that stood out for us. Although we booked our own air ...

Since I prepared myself my reading all the reviews that the people before me left I only find it fitting that I write a review to help the people after me. To start this off I am a 30 year old male that went with my wife, father in law and mother in law. Flew from Arizona to Miami. Then Miami to Quito. Landed in Quito around 230pm local time, which is the same as east coast United States time. ...

To be clear, I'm not an experienced cruiser (only one prior cruise 25 years ago, with no plans to sail today's giant modern ships), and we don't fit the typical demographic—I'm a 52-year-old man traveling with my 18-year-old daughter. We wanted to see the Galapagos, and we chose the Xpedition not for the food or the accommodations, but because it seemed like the easiest most trouble-free and ...

This was a trip I have wanted to do for many years. Hearing someone talk about his experience on this trip and seeing his pictures, the trip became a reality. My wife and I are in our late 60's and in decent health. We decided on the trip that included Espanola Island because I wanted to see the waved albatross which is only on that island. Note they leave the island sometime in December and ...

I just returned from a Galapagos cruise with Celebrity. The cruise itself is 7 days but the package includes 2 nights pre-cruise at the Mariott in Quito and 1 night post-cruise at the same hotel. The cruise package is all inclusive. That is including pick up at Quito airport (private transfer). Hotel stay, tours, breakfast, lunch and dinner plus luggage transfer from hotel to airport to ...

Do not hesitate to book Galapagos on Xpedition

Extensive travel can foster skepticism about promotional information. In this instance the Galapagos aboard Xpedition is everything, and more, than the publicity promotes. I regretted that skepticism kept us from booking a b2b of both loops. My sweetheart of 32 years was satisfied with the one week but I gladly would have stayed the second week. We tend to avoid the herd and travel ...

For those looking for a standard cruise this would not be your thing although Celebrity does its best to bring a lot of its standard cruise feature to this ship. For those looking for an amazing adventure with an up close and personal look of an amazing place this is an adventure one will love. Here are some of the basics: Excursions: Are great and lead by amazing naturalists who know so ...
