We sailed on Constellation's voyage from Venice to Rome. We had a great itinerary. Embarkation in Venice was extremely smooth and we were in our stateroom less than one-half hour after getting to the pier. Celebrity staff were mostly friendly and helpful. We have recently had a twelve night Italy, Adriatic & Spain cruise onboard the Celebrity Infinity, everything with the cruise was fine, food, staffing. accommodation, entertainment and service, not great but okay, around 7 marks out of 10 in our opinion.
Then comes account settlement time and it all changes and goes downhill fast!

Overall we had a wonderful cruise, but I can’t say it was a typical (I hope) Celebrity product.

I was hoping to be wowed by Celebrity having read up so much prior to going, but i have to say although they were good, I do prefer other cruise lines in retrospect. The ports of call made this cruise memorable for the right reasons.

First time in a Millennium class ship, not overtly impressed. Needed a refurb and the layout of some areas like the buffet, elevators, main parlor were small and odd. I enjoyed the people I met on the cruise. I found the service from the staff to have been wonderful. The ship is clean and well maintained. Most of the entertainment was good; however, It wasn't horrible; it was just not great. Food was good, but to get great food, one has to eat in specialty restaurants. Cabin was small and tacky, similar to a Days Inn. 300+ KIDS everywhere and disruptive - jamming elevators, slamming doors, running down the halls. The ship did little to abate the problem. We chose this cruise as we liked the itinerary. Unfortunately, we didn't get to board the ship in Venice as our flight from Belfast was over 8 hours late! We flew, instead to Dubrovnik which would have been our first port of call, and boarded the ship the following day.
