Well done Celebrity Solstice, we love and adore you. Your staff and ship are just awesome, we can't wait till our next one in Europe in 2019. So very sad to have to disembark after such an amazing time. Dining anytime was very well organised, loved sitting at different tables every night or just the two of us. Staff in this area were well trained and wonderful human beings. Our room steward was ...

The Vast Pacific Ocean

I think this itinerary was mis-named. For me, South Pacific Treasures would have been more accurate, because it was traversing the South Pacific ocean that was the purpose of this cruise, with a total of 11 sea days. One day we were treated to 4-5 meter waves, another day 2 meter waves, another day it was a pacific ocean, smooth as a lake. Overnight of Oct. 5, we were treated to a beautiful ...

A relatively EXPRENSIVE 17 DAY TRANSITION CRUISE TO SYDNEY FROM HONOLULU...Lots of people sick from on board virus..(removed number 0ver 200). food in dinning room and buffet monotonous and bland. Asst Ma'de tried to calm us down over food issues and brought chef to us--who then made excuses about trying to please guest who didn't like spicy or tasty food. (Cruise line trying to please wrong ...

Just completed the October 2017 Solstice from Hawaii to Sydney. We had a fabulous time. The staff were friendly and the activities team led by Shawna had picked two terrific bands who provided lively dance music to suit lots of different age groups at different times of the evening. This meant that our group of party-goers were able to have fun every single night dancing either in the grand foyer, ...

This was the only cruise line sailing from Hawaii to Australia at the time we were going. On-board check was done ahead of time yet we had to go through it all over again. Very disconcerting. The too narrow sofa had a stained mattress. Ugh! Dining was just so-so. The extra dining rooms were priced high at $50/person. Much too pricey. They would stand outside the main dining area and ...

Must Love Sea Days

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

With only three ports of call after departing Vancouver, this cruise is for hardcore cruisers that love sea days. All the usual shipboard activities were offered by the crew. Captain Christodoulakis could also be seen walking around the ship regularly and engaging with the passengers. We found the ship and our concierge balcony cabin in good condition despite previous reviews. Sitka was ...

A nice time all in all

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

The cruise was a good way to spend 2 weeks with my wife as well as meet new people as we travelled toward Japan. Embarkation was a breeze and very efficient and we were met by very polite people as we checked in and all through the process up to and including US Customs (note, if you smile are offer politeness, you will get that in return, funny how many people have forgotten that). Our day ...

First Transpacific cruise and first time with Millennium

After enjoying three transatlantic cruises with Celebrity, we decided it was time to take a longer cruise to visit Alaska and Japan. While the size or class of the room never matters to us with European, Alaskan or Caribbean cruises, when there are few ports of call in cruises lasting 14 or more days we like to book a suite to enjoy Michael's Club and Luminae as well as other perks. And we ...

This cruise was VERY LONG AT SEA. TOO LONG in our opinion. There was supposed to be a "break" about half way through at Dutch Harbor but at the very last minute, Celebrity changed the itinerary to include Sitka instead. While the contract allows for changes based on circumstances, everyone we talked to on the cruise indicated that they were extremely disappointed: a) the change meant that we ...
