My husband and I just returned from a 14-day Transatlantic Cruise aboard the Celebrity Reflection. I have to say that I was more than just a bit disappointed.
I am a Celiac Gluten-Free passenger and was assured they were able to accommodate. They were able to accommodate if I wanted to eat the same thing day-in and day-out, every day. The dining room menu is absolutely uninviting for the ...
Our first transatlantic and being elite passengers we were expecting a typical great cruise.
First off the staterooms appeared war torn from the curtains (which I had taken photos of) which appeared worn and frail to the smeared spots of what may have been dried chocolate or lipstick. The shower drain was clogged on initially turning on to shower! Yuc h, but was addressed immediately by our ...
As always Celebrity delivered a good cruise. We were in a Celebrity and sure lots of perks and they were great. Ship is clean and well maintained since it refurbed not to long ago but she is aging and you can see.
Officers were all over the place making their presence seen to all passengers. Seem genuine in asking what our thoughts were.
Luminae was great. You can order off any menu. ...
This was our third cruise on Celebrity, two on Eclipse and now Reflection. For the 2018 cruise around the British Isles, our last pre-Covid, we had a Sky Suite and for this cruise we had a two-room Celebrity Suite. The benefits of Suite class are outstanding and for us, in our late 70's, mandatory. They include the Premium Drink Package, Premium WiFi, Luminae and Michael's Club, concierge and ...
The cruise ship Celebrity Beyond was great. It was a long time on board, 14 nights, but fortunately there were soccer games (on TV) almost everyday, so there was something to do and other soccer fans to meet and enjoy. Lots of live music. The production entertainers only knew two shows, so it was not special in that regard, but the two were very good and we'd never seen them. There were other ...
WE have sailed with Celebrity many times before and have previously enjoyed an excellent cruise.
This is the first time sailing with them since Pandemic and wow, what a difference!
The ship was only half full and that was the only benefit as far as I was concerned, no queues!
Standards have fallen to an all time low with little or no consideration to the demographics of the passengers. ...
We had decided to take this particular cruise , because it had the destination we wanted to visit- norway fjords, after crossing the Atlantic. I researched the the ship and most of the reviews were very good and based on my previous travel on celebrity line I was sure, i would enjoy it. I was wrong. The ship is beautiful and everyone who works on it think that they can do whatever they want, ...
A little about the cruise. Let's go again with Celebrity, this time - Celebrity Apex. In 2021 we went to the Caribbean on her older sister - Celebrity Edge.
From the Fort, after two days at sea, we arrive in Bermuda, then another 6 days at sea, and the port of Cobh in Ireland. After Ireland there are two ports in England, Portland and Southampton. This will be our fourth time in ...
This was our 4th cruise with Celebrity and I've always had great experiences. This was our first Transatlantic and our first Edge Class ship, the APEX. Everything regarding the ship was a luxurious with the finest appointments that I've ever seen on a ship. However, we did miss some of the features that have been on our previous Celebrity ships. We especially missed the Sky Observation Lounge with ...
Transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale to Amsterdam.
Ports were very good, very satisfied with the itinerary.
Entertainment was very good, not to mention the state of the art theatre.
That said unless you liked Indian food and wanted it every day, there were few alternatives. Select dining was awful.
At end, never will I cruise Celebrity after being stuck for 17 days with awful food and ...
