Huge Disappointment - Don’t GO!!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

This cruise has been a total and complete disaster. We are currently on the Celebrity Summit. We got on the ship and should have gone w our gut feeling to turn around and get off. It has been the worst vacation we have ever had! Our room was dirty and disgusting upon arrival. We tried to get off in Key West but due to the Jones Act we would have been charged around $4k to get off. We sucked it up ...

While this is not my first Celebrity Cruise, or even first time on the Summit. This has by far been the worst experience. Have been charged multiple times for the same items that I have had to spend time disputing. Our room has 6 outlets and 3 dont work in any way, the 3 that are out are bedside outlets. Have had 1/2 of our food orders incorrect with no offer of replacement. While since going on ...

Horrible Food

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

I just went on a Celebrity Summit cruise and the bathroom had a really smelly sewage smell. We were shown several rooms that also had that same smell. The room attendant said that the pipes needed to be fixed. I also experienced the same smell in one of the whirlpools. The food in the buffet made me really sick, maybe that’s because the chefs do not wear any gloves when they prepare the food. I ...

Terrible food

First, the thermostat in our room never worked and was “repaired” 3 times. But food was the real problem. The cafeteria food was universally greasy, except personal omelets by Don Hyndryx. The restaurant was unable to serve the meager choices on its own menu. I ordered roasted pork loin and was served ham, and salad Nicoise with “French onion Dijon” dressing was served with the usual choices ...

My wife and I were recently taken on our first cruise. It was a gift from our children. You can only imagine the excitement that built over the four months of planning, which cruise line, what foods, the drinks, I work from home and must have full time dependable internet, clothes, how much luggage. The list goes on and on. Just like in real life, all dreams must come to an end. This one ...

Cruised on the Celebrity Summit 14 months ago. It was a very good experience. I do not know what has happened but, if this one was our first cruise. We would never have cruised again. Easter weekend, 2018, this was our 60th cruise. Not with Celebrity. We are priority and it might as well been our first boarding. Entered the building a few min. after 12 noon. No priority line when you walk in. You ...

We picked the cruise because it had better ports than a similar one on a newer/better ship. We assumed that the days at sea activities would keep us happy the two sea days on each side of the four ports of call. We were horribly wrong. On the plus side, the food was really good almost every day and we found something to enjoy at St. Kitts, St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico. That's about ...

Worst Smooth Jazz Cruise

This was my 3rd Smooth Jazz Cruise and it was by far THE WORST! This ship was just bad from beginning to end! Looked in the refrigerator in my room and found half eaten yogurt and utensils. Bathroom grout horrible...bed was really more of a "cot". Dust was under the frig and looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while. Food was bland, ALWAYS Luke warm to cold... room service was the ...

our 25th anniversary! we wanted to do it right so we spent about $2,300 dollars including airfare for 5 nights in a room with a window (not a balcony) so we were expecting awesomeness. NOT! i will start with the crew and captain. they were awesome, so sweet, so genuine. other positives were the premium drink package. it is awesome!! vitamin water, red bulls, Evian water in giant ...

Totally Disappointed

We have cruised for many years (30+ cruises). We've sailed on Royal Caribbean for many years and thought we'd give their sister line a try. We we also happy that they would honor our Diamond status on this ship.Their was also much talk about this ship being 'refurbished'. As mentioned in other reviews, the dining room food was a miss more than a hit. It appeared that the meals had been ...
