This is the third time that we have sailed on the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda. We did so twice before the refurbishment of the ship.
To begin, the refurbishment was overall well done.

We just returned from an 11 day cruise on Celebrity. We had a fabulous time the itinerary was great 3 days in Bermuda one in each Boston, Bar Harbour Main, and Portland Maine. The good:
We absolutely loved the overall changes in decor on the Summit.
Truly beautiful.
Staff - amazing!!
Luminae continues to be great!

The weather was perfection and the ports were also amazing. It is so nice to be in Bermuda multiple days - if you haven't done a multi-day port yet, you should. It is so different when there is no pressure to get back to the ship.
This ship is ship shape and one of the VERY few ships in the world to get a 100 score in regards to health/cleanliness. It shows. The staff is great.

Wanted to visit Bermuda again and the New England ports. Also wanted to go on this ship after the refurbishment.
They have made a super job of refitting the staterooms and communal rooms. Everything looks fresh and clean.

I choose this ship because of the Itinerary. 3 days in Bermuda. The ship has been completely refurbished and not too big and easy to get around. And there were not many children.
Food was fabulous. Tried all restaurants and my favorite is the Tuscan.
I would highly recommend this for couples, singles and groups.

I live not so far from Bayonne's port, and I spend a good portion of my Sundays watching the Summit come in and out. I've had the pleasure of cruising with her twice (my third in July of 2019) and i have seen her pre-, post-solstice upgrades and now (excitingly) will see her revolutionized. Friends who work in school systems could only go in August-I never cruise then-I love getting away in the winter from the snow!! But we did it and it was so hot--I would never do that again! The ship is beautiful and on a smaller scale (about 2200 guests) than the NCL that was in port with us with their (over) 5000 guests!!
