2-5 Cruises

Let me start out by saying that this cruise was our 5th. We have done 2 Norwegians and previously we have been on Celebrity Silhouette and Reflection. After some serious research we have decided to remain loyal to Celebrity as they seem to suit our life style. We like good food, exciting cocktails, fantastic service and an older more refined crowd that still likes to enjoy themselves. We chose ...

This was our 5th Celebrity cruise. Maybe it was an exception but they were a lot of negative points during this cruise. First of all, I will start with the Celebrity website. My account was always locked, had difficulty with the purchases and the online checkin. If you go now, you will notice that they still have alerts for the hurricane which were in 2017. The copyright is still 2017. It is a ...

It was to be our second Celebrity cruise; the first being on the Reflection a year ago. We loved the Celebrity experience and despite being Platinum on another line, we decided to jump ship to Celebrity. The amenities, food, service, decor, other passengers, activities, etc. really sold us on Celebrity. We knew going into our cruise on the Summit that some things would be different due to the ...

My sister choose this cruise because she and her husband had been on the Celebrity Summit 5 years ago and said it was amazing. We ate in the dinning room three times and the food was so so. The food in the Ocean Cafe was great, all staff were very friendly and remembered us each day. We ate at the Tuscan Grille once and the food was to die for. Thanks Volkan, for entertaining us! The room ...

Average Cruise with Some Disappointments

We chose this cruise because the ship was advertised as a 5 star and the price was great. Since we had booked so far in advance, we had a generous room credit and tips were included. We had cruised with Celebrity once before (European) but I remember it being much better than this cruise. The food was just average at both the buffet and the main dining room. One of the most annoying experiences ...

We were 2 couples traveling in two cabins. The embarkation and disembarkation were flawless. The ship and the cabin were physically tired. Our room was on deck 3. It was the last passenger cabin forward before the crews cabins. We could hear water dripping in the walls all night. One night I was awakened at 2:00 AM by a continuous drip of water on my head from the ceiling. I had to put a ...

I was on the San Juan to Bayonne repositioning cruise. I am new to Celebrity and had very high expectations based on how Celebrity brands themselves (luxury) and what other cruisers had to say. I try to take everything in stride and realize that not everyone’s experience is the same. My overall impression is that Celebrity is not any different from other cruise lines and definitely not luxury ...

I am a very experienced cruiser, I have taken cruises with my family in tow- three children and as a couple with my husband only. I have logged over fifteen cruises on Celebrity, Costa, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival. I normally stay in a balcony or suite. This cruise on the Celebrity Summit was to be something special for my husband and I- our empty nester cruise. It was just the two of ...

This was our second time on the Summit and third on Celebrity. On this cruise, we were with our entire family group of 13, whereas in the past we were just on our own as a couple. While we had a great time overall, there were definitely areas that this cruise was really lacking and substandard to our previous Celebrity cruises. First the good: We had a veranda cabin, as did one other family ...

This trip was our 2nd time traveling with the Celebrity Summit. The entry to the ship was care free and there werent any concerns. It was expedited and we were basically on vacation within 15 minutes of being curbside. We ventured to our "aqua class" stateroom. This is incentive ized because you get to dine in a smaller dining room, have complimentary access to the Persian gardens and as I am an ...
