We are very happy with the attention we received in the dining room, buffet, our room steward and the concierge service they offer to some guests. The pool service has been better on previous cruises with Celebrity. My guess is that they have cut the service down since most people have beverage packages now. Hence, they don't push the drinks as much. But when you do get service, the service (attitude) of the servers is great. Lots of staff have such a great attitude and it is a pleasant atmosphere. One thing I will say about this itinerary - Southern Carribbean - We really needed two days (at least) at sea to enjoy the ship and have more of a rest. I would request that they revisit the itinerary. Also I miss the "free" sushi on the buffet! Now you have to buy it in the Sushi on Five (which is great by the way) One more thing, if you are traveling with any "children" even if they are over 18, they have to share a cabin legally with someone over 21. We had two rooms. One for our two boys and our concierge room. However, our comped beverage package was one adult package and one minor package for the concierge room. and they wouldn't transfer the package to the other adult in our party (my husband!) AND we even though they gave us keys so we could switch sleeping arrangements, it was difficult for my husband to get the concierge benefits. It really felt like a slap in the face seeing as we were the ones paying for TWO rooms - it seems like we should get the benefits of those TWO rooms. I really think they need to be more aware and sensitive to those issues or change some of their policies. Read Less

Celebrity was our first choice - we had never been to the Southern Caribbean. We had been to St Maarten, St Thomas, but the others were new to us. This is why we chose this ship. I do not like it as much as The Siloutte or Reflection - the areas are much smaller and the crew was not as visible as the other ships. We never saw our cabin steward, my adult children joined us and their cabins were not cleaned every day, they never got beach towels, and never received wake up calls. We enjoyed the activities at sea, the captain (Captain Kate) was the star of the show - and made the trip very enjoyable. Thankfully, there was a group of younger people that knew how to have a good time - the silent disco was the best thing ever! We chose not to use Celebrity for our excursions - there were better deals on Yelp and Trip Advisor. We enjoyed a small catamaran trip that the crew went above and beyond for us. The Barbados and Antiqua ports were so loaded with people trying to convince you to take their taxi, that we went back to the ship - never even went anywhere - they followed us down the street and when we stopped, so did they - very scary. We'd heard mixed reviews on this ship and were pleasantly surprised on how much we liked it. It was a good size, not too big or too small. The staff on the ship provided a high level of service and was extremely friendly. There were a lot of late night entertainment options besides gambling, which we didn't see on our crusie on Princess. Captain Kate was awesome - great, humorous announcements and she really enjoys her job and enteracting with the guests. It was refreshing to have a young captain, and you've got to love the fact that she's the first American female ship captain. There were a few times when we'd see worn upholestery or wall coverings, but nothing that impacted the quality of our trip. I'd heard good things about the food on Celebrity - the food in the buffet was better than what I'd had on Princess; the food in the main dining room was usually good, though the main dishes and desserts were nothing spectacular. The food in Qsine was extremely good, worth the extra charge if you have OBC. We loved the martinis at Crush and the coffee at Al Baccio. We'd definitely go back on this ship again. Read Less

We expected Celebrity to be better than other cruise lines as it was more expensive, so when we saw a good deal we went ahead. What a disappointment! Overall the staff and service was excellent, the cleanliness of the ship, especially public areas could not be faulted but the entertainment in the theatre was pitiful, in fact we tried it several times but left after a few minutes. There were some bars with reasonable music which luckily were good enough otherwise it would have been pretty dismal. Probably the most annoying things for us were the fact that the running track was in the middle of the sun deck, so we had to go really early to avoid all the idiots and then we learnt that you had to be like a German and leave your towel on a sun bed otherwise you couldn't get one all day as there were not enough for all the guests. This wasn't a holiday for young at heart as the ship seemed to cater for the very elderly and unfit types in wheelchairs. Wouldn't recommend it and won't be going with Celebrity again. Not value for money. Read Less

In addition to being a special birthday the Itinerary was the prime reason we booked this cruise as we always wanted to visit Singapore & Vietnam. The move away from Formal nights to Chic just did not work and there was very little glitz or glamour on these evenings. It is the main reason that we will not be using Celebrity Cruises in the future as we feel that the opportunity to dress up and having a more glamorous ambience than the everyday is one of our main reasons for going cruising. We used the photographers on one of the Chic nights but were very dissapointed that the $30 charge did not include a cardboard holder and the photo was not even trimmed. It was in fact handed to us in a plastic carrier bag which is the worst service we have received on any cruise. Whilst the service in the main dining room was excellent we tended to find the food fairly bland and there was very little choice of regional dishes. The lunchtime buffet restaurant was however excellent and offered a very wide range of dishes. We found the seating arrangement and bar staff in the theatre to be excellent and it was probably the most pleasant theatre we have experienced. Overall the ship was very nice and the staff were generally very friendly and helpful. The shore excursions were well organised & although expensive generally provided what was advertised The embarkation and disembarkation systems were the best we have ever experienced and our thanks and congratulations to all the staff involved. We choose cruises to fit our schedule, but try to use to use celebrity solstice class. Embarkation was a little long, but disembarkation was pretty smooth. Enjoyed our early dining time with a great set of table mates. Food all over the ship was excellent. Once again we enjoyed Quine. Quality of the entertainment was great. Room stewards and dining room staff were very attentive. We really enjoy the layout of the ship. Was looking forward to dining at the crepe place but it is now sushi on 5 . Did not attend . Of all the ports Bonaire was our favourite for the snorkelling and low key atmosphere. On board we booked next marches holiday aboard the Equinox. After the cruise we spent 6 days in Miami in north beach exploring the area . It was our first cruise out of Miami. The cruise port and airport are a little further away from each other, compared to Ft. Lauderdale. Read Less

-Upper class kind of Cruise Ship -Didn't like the show's except for the Comedy -There's no activity thats interesting during the day....well I played BINGO -Not Interested in Jewelry that they want you to buy -No one wins in the Casino, BUT I WAS TOUGHT HOW TO PLAY TEXAS HOLD EM & lost choke $$$$, no mercy to beginners, lol -Didn't like the idea of being reminded of my Bill during the trip. Upon pre-registering, We did inform them that we would be paying CASH. Which during check in they should have asked for a deposit. This isn't our first cruise but we never was given notices about our bill, we just paid at the end. Kind of like being at home when u on a vacation! -I lost a briefcase on the boat and I felt like Celebrity Staff, was not interested in helping me find it, management would speak to me and brushed me off. Felt and was totally IGNORED. What bothered me the most is that their security camera's could not assist because it is ONLY FOR SAFETY. Like really! Three weeks passed and still no follow up from them? -The staff was always generous, polite and courteous. But we don't think we would be sailing on this cruise line again! -Need to do the on shore tours, we did & it was Great. Went to Dunn's River & Bobsled. It was thrilling. We loved Jamaica, buy souvenirs from the port their cheaper, lol -Went to the caves in Mexico, it was beautiful. It's a journey so use the restroom before you go, lol. Nice fresh cold water. We didn't wear wet suites but it's recommended. -THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE VARIETY WAS AWESOME, BEST PART CRUISES! Read Less

This was our 2nd sailing Silhouette and she is aging well, the ship is still sparkling for the most part. The staff are very friendly and accommodating for such a large ship, everything is always clean including the cabins and public spaces. The entertainment is good, the new stage shows are pretty amazing. The finale show "Life" was beyond expectations and we truly enjoyed it (it is a combo of a concert, dance/vocal performance and acrobatic act). All of the minor acts in the bars, etc are very good as well and the band that plays the main atrium is excellent. The cabins are still very nice with good sized verandas (Aqua class A1), but the design is starting to show its age a bit. They are still well kept and in very good condition but they arent cutting edge design either. The storage is plenty for 2 adults, the main issue now is there are only 2- electrical outlets at the desk and 1- in the bathroom. These days with phone, tablets, laptops, cameras, etc its just not enough to keep your devices charged for a week+. A nice touch would be more outlets or USB ports built in various areas as well as the ability to stream to your TV or to have TV's with USB ports so you can look at your days pic's or stream a movie. Dining is true to the Celebrity standard, although this cruise there a couple of sides, etc that were decent only. Overall though the food was excellent. The service in Blu, Tuscan, Sushi on 5, Lawn Club are superb, plenty of high quality food and drink! Excursions were good and the best thing is the guarantee to not get left behind of your tour runs late (we saw it happen on the Equinox!). It seems the selection isnt as great as it used to be and Celebrity took the reviews section out of the excursions which seems a bit "shady" to me. The tour operators were good, safe and puntual while providing a good time for all. Read Less

Although not travelling with kids, chose this cruise due to previous Celebrity experience and to work with travelling friends spring break. This really is a lovely ship, all the areas where kept extremely clean and although a full sailing felt spacious. We had a Concierge Cabin (1194) the Concierge package was almost free and not sure I would pay for it, but our Cabin was spacious and so nice Celebrity has spent the space to have larger bathrooms and showers with doors! Food and Service in the MDR was always topnotch, Darel & Viviano looked after us so well we would wait for their section each night, yet never waited more than a few minutes. The maitre'd never failed to come over and check in with us and we enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the dining room from him. Had amazing meals in both the Tuscan Grill and Qsine. We spent our days by the pool but enjoyed Trivia in the late afternoons, delayed dinner and Sky Lounge for evening music. We did find it almost too quiet around the pool during the day, bar service was pretty low and waiter service almost nonexistent. Carla in the Ensemble lounge introduced us to some wonderful Mexican spirits she grew up with that kept us coming back. Overall a really nice trip if you are looking for something quiet with great food and lovely accomodations. Other than bar staff, our service was really good everywhere, would not do without a beverage card though as everything is pretty pricey. Read Less

Altogether the cruise was amazing except for the excessive vibrations in our cabin! I was sailing with my wife, and my 2 kids (10 and 12). They loved the cruise because of free wifi, they were gaming non-stop. We were in a Royal Suite on deck 11 #1622. The dining was amazing, Illuminae had to have been the best. The entertainment and activities were outstanding! Our butler Edwin was especially nice and always brought my kids cookies. We did 2 shore excursions. The first one was in Puerto Rico, we went zip lining. It was pretty good. Then in St. Kitts and Nevis we did a catermeran snorkel/beach on Nevis that left from Kitts. It was really fun! We would not go again on Celebrity beacuase of the viberations, but the service was awesome. Honestly I would not recommend this ship for first cruisers because it will ruin the experience. Thanks Celebrity Reflection crew for a awesome service. Read Less
