Ok, First we are not new to crusing. This was our 42 cruise and 5th with Celebrity. What we found was issues with the service overall. In the main dining room we only saw the waiters assistant only once on the final night of a 14 day cruise. The other times we had diner the food was often wrong and cool-cold. One night my wife asked for a cup of coffee, 35 minutes later still no coffee or waiter. ...

I have held of my review of Celebrity Reflection for 6 Months and we are still awaiting Celebrity investigation report in to our cruise. My wife and I have sailed on 22 cruise now and this was by far our worst. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We live in the UK and prefer to travel to the States as we have found the whole customer experience so much better and friendlier. Needless ...

Boat Trip To Mexico

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

My wife and I were passengers aboard the Celebrity Summit for the recent Soul Train Cruise. I say cruise, but unfortunately it was a boat ride to Mexico due to the ship not being fir for purpose for 5 out of the 7 days of the trip. Having spent in the region of $14,000 dollars to fund the trip of a lifetime, I got a trip to Mexico, which I could have done for considerably less from the UK (in the ...

We picked the cruise because it had better ports than a similar one on a newer/better ship. We assumed that the days at sea activities would keep us happy the two sea days on each side of the four ports of call. We were horribly wrong. On the plus side, the food was really good almost every day and we found something to enjoy at St. Kitts, St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico. That's about ...

Worst Smooth Jazz Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

This was my 3rd Smooth Jazz Cruise and it was by far THE WORST! This ship was just bad from beginning to end! Looked in the refrigerator in my room and found half eaten yogurt and utensils. Bathroom grout horrible...bed was really more of a "cot". Dust was under the frig and looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while. Food was bland, ALWAYS Luke warm to cold... room service was the ...

We have cruised for many years (30+ cruises). We've sailed on Royal Caribbean for many years and thought we'd give their sister line a try. We we also happy that they would honor our Diamond status on this ship.Their was also much talk about this ship being 'refurbished'. As mentioned in other reviews, the dining room food was a miss more than a hit. It appeared that the meals had been ...

Spoiled Food and Spoiled Anniversary Celebration Two Years in a Row

Food was terrible!!! Served spoiled coffee creamer multiple times and molded berries for breakfast. Dropped the ball and ruined our wedding anniversary two years in a row then try to comp a $60 meal, throw in some cut flowers and cheap wine to say we are sorry after we spend over $4000. When it happned in 2015, given future cruise credit to try them again, that was a baited hook for sure ...

Horrible, Never with Celebrity Cruise line again!

Celebrity Summit to Southern Caribbean on November 5th 2016; this is the first cruise my wife and I have been on and I would never consider another cruise with Celebrity even if they paid me to go on it! My family and I felt very unwelcome on the boat from the moment we began to board and met the first rude employee who doesn't want to be there. The overall mood and experience on the boat is just ...

I'd heard good things about Celebrity. We booked a holiday cruise just to enjoy a week of doing not much of anything, just some time in the sun doing a bit of reading. We chose a big boat because we thought the variety in dining and entertainment would be better. Boy were we wrong. Celebrity has three classes of passengers. The top are the "suite" passengers, the next are the "aqua class" ...
