We want to keep this short:
Staff is still an 8 out of 10. Thank you, Celebrity Cruises.
We have now decided to not book Celebrity again due to one big problem and a few small.
The big problem is the food. Main Dining Room was so bad on 6 out of 12 nights. The other nights were - let's say okay.
Nothing compares to years ago. It's just sad and bad.
Further problems included ...
We chose this cruise based on the ship and the length of time for the trip which was 12 nights. There were many good things about this adventure such as the solarium and the service…the staff really works hard to keep everyone happy. We ate at 2 specialty restaurants called Tuscan and Murano and the food and service was excellent…there were 4 in our group and we all felt the meal at Murano was the ...
We chose this cruise because it was school vacation week and we wanted to take a cruise longer than a week. The ship itself was very clean and the staff were exceptional. The decor is a bit outdated, felt like a casino in the mid west. The outdoor pool is small. The deck layout around it very crowded. The solarium pool is also small. The activities on board were geared for an older crowd. The ...
We were finally able to take our cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette after a two year hiatus due to COVID. Headed to Fort Lauderdale the day before our departure. Stayed at the Riverside Hotel for the one night prior to our cruise. Excellent location right on Las Olas Boulevard. The hotel was very nice. Highly recommend. We had a departure time of 1:30pm but had already had our transportation ...
It's been a while since we sailed Celebrity and wanted to the Celebrity experience again. The ship was super clean and in excellent condition. Passengers were mostly 55+ with very, very few children and teens. There were activities for families/children, but just not many on board. Passengers mostly from US, Canada, England, and Germany. Crew was fantastic, polite, and helpful. Food was ...
This was our fourth try to take this cruise due to Covid but it was worth the wait. Embarkation was incredibly easy and we were on the ship eating a snack by 11:00 a.m. We were allowed to immediately go to our cabin to drop our carry-ons which was a pleasant surprise. We got our luggage about an hour later.
We learned a few days before the cruise that we would be going to Nassau instead ...
BETTER than MSC, on par with Holland America but for a fraction of the price... The Summit was not our first pick for a cruise this year but I am very greatful we made the choice to go with it.
We were in a balcony room, aqua class, with the premium drink and basic wifi package. So keep that in mind as I go over the details.
Pros:
+Dinning options
+Public areas
+Shops
+Nightly ...
We did this Southern Caribbean cruise on the Equinox because our travel agent recommended it. We splurged and booked a Celebrity Suite. Almost everything about the ship was very good. It's clean, new looking, well maintained. I'll summarize our experiences by category. Note we were suite guests...
- Cabin and room butler - excellent
- Luminae dining room - friendly staff, excellent ...
We have done 10 Celebrity cruises going all the way back to the Horizon! We took this cruise because of the stop in Cartagena. Having never been there before and not having been able to go on vacation for 3 years, it seemed like a good time to get away and see something new.
We flew down a couple days early and stayed at the Hilton Marina. The view was ok, but the prices are ridiculous. The ...
We were on this cruise, in Aqua class. We booked that so we could dine in Blu and it was great! The food at dinner was very good to excellent and the service was as well. The only “miss” at dinner was when I ordered off the MDR menu. Sometimes the service lagged a little but it was very good overall. The sommelier service was very good as well.
We also dined once at Tuscan and it was quite ...
