The crew works extremely hard to make sure you have a great time, and to overcome issues you may run into. Javier, our naturalist, grew up on the Islands, and knew how to make the excursions entertaining. He was terrific. We chose this cruise because we heard it had scenery like you would see on a cruise to Alaska. Similar, but certainly not better. Celebrity is our favorite cruise line. We had sailed on Infinity before and love the size of the ship. We were in Aqua Class on Deck 11 Aft. Boarding was a breeze, there was a glitch coming from Santiago to San Antonio. We lost about 2 hours due to transportation issues with Celebrity.

The Cruise from Chile through Patagonia and up to Uruguay ending in Buenos Aires.
From start to end our room was dirty and poorly maintained - worst cruise of 15 I have ever experienced.
Issues:
1) dirty bed skirt (I didn't want to know what liquid was on it!)
2) rust and hair and dirt in bathroom floor

We have enjoyed Celebrity Cruises in the past and we were not disappointed this time either. Staff, crew, food - especially the Martini Bar staff, all were excellent and we had a great cruise. Our cabin steward, Randy, was the best!

I chose this cruise for the Cruise Line, itinerary, perks, price. I loved that there was a naturalist on board that informed us daily at his seminars, but Celebrity should also narrate via TV and speaker system, as they do in Alaska, so that we can take advantage of our balcony.
